Fees and cancelation are not transparent. I wrote to them to cancel and they didn't do it but asked me why. I was charged hundreds of dollars before I contacted them again and only then did they tell me I had to do it through the app. The loss of money has made my depression and anxiety worse. I NEVER USED THEIR SERVICES.

Can't get face to face therapy so I tried Betterhelp, told me they won't hook me up with a therapist, didn't even say why. Apparently I needed to much help.

A pity I can't give them zero stars. They are very disingenuous. They offer UK services, but will only ever enroll US counselors (one 'l', US spelling). They refuse to accept British cousellors for a British service. This smells very much like arrogance to me.

BetterHelp states 65 dollars per week. You sign up to test it out but instead they charge you for a mo th. You immediately cancel and they end your membership but keep the 260. U called my bank to stop payment. Don’t want to work with this type of scam. Can you imagine taking advantage of people in need.?

Frankly it was a joke. I am grieving the loss of my brother. She asks me how I feel and she validates it. No kidding! I know it's normal to be sad after losing a loved one! I need help! I responded saying that I needed ideas or tools to deal with overwhelming grief. She recommended that I write a letter to him. While writing a letter may be a good idea at some point, for now, the idea of writing a letter makes me feel like my heart is breaking. This was like pulling teeth to get help and I don't have the energy. Useless!

Scammers. No help I clicked on a link saying 7 day free trial and they charged me $180/month for 2 months on my card without sending me a bill. The therapist was zero help during the trial. They basically just scam you without your knowledge

They matched me with a counselor who couldn't see me for 3 weeks because she was going on vacation and then I was gone myself for a week after that so could not meet with her as soon as she was available again. I asked for a refund for that billing period since the person they assigned me was unable to provide services and they refused. I would not recommend.

I was matched with the counselor from hell. I was open and honest about my mistakes in my first communication with her. She responded by lambasting me for them, calling me foolish, telling me she had no empathy for me, and refusing to work with me. She could have just said we weren’t a good fit. The insults were completely unnecessary and very damaging. I was reaching out for help, not cruelty.
