I will start off and say: “Therapy is NOT EASY, they will not do the work for you, you have to BE THE ONE that does the hard work! They will be there to guide you every step of the way! I have been using “Betterhelp” for the past 5 years. Matched with 3 different therapists. Each of them had helped me tremendously at different stages of my life. My first therapist helped with my work issues, second with addiction and third with relationship struggles. I would say that I wasn’t ready to deal with all of them at once, and when I got through one I didn’t want to spoil what we worked on so hard - with another issue so I looked for another therapist which is great, you can match until you find the right one. My last one (the third) is the greatest so far just seems we’ve matched the best. I am so grateful for her, I keep her posted I sign up once a month or more or less as I need to. She has been my reality check person. You really have to be ready for a reality check though. It takes time and hard work but it is possible to get better and I truly recommend this app! It’s affordable and you can keep looking for a match that fits you! Good luck, it’s possible I promise! Just very important to be honest with yourself and your therapist!
