BetterHelp is providing an opportunity for affordable teletherapy and thankfully I was paired on my first appointment with a good therapist. I would say she’s good because she lets me do most of the talking but she’s able to listen to the right information to help me pieced together actionable items to work on short term and long term. After a year plus of working together during that time I’ve growth in all aspects of my life. While writing this review I would say all of that has had a positive impact on my life. Go to therapy and also pray. We all need the combination.

A very attentive team made the effort to provide me with a Portuguese speaking therapist. Although I speak English, being able to discuss your personal issues in your own language, makes a difference and I'm grateful for that.

Betterhelp has been very beneficial in helping me, not only access a therapist remotely, but also one that was financially feasible. In today's society, sadly, mental health does take a great back burner due to not only a lack of time in the day, but because the cost is simply not something that many of us, I personally can afford. Sadly, I do have insurance, but with deductible and co pays, it just makes it impossible to afford on our income. Mental health and its' recovery should NEVER have to take a back burner. Being stable is what will help us be more efficient in society as a whole. This is why I am thrilled with services like betterhelp. Due to my lower income, I was able to qualify for some financial assistance and I am able to afford weekly therapy which has helped me tremendously. Every day, I find myself healing a bit more from my traumas and getting a bit stronger, thus more stable and more able in society.

I was excited that just after one video visit with my counselor I was able to feel a little bit better. I felt supported, listened to and have been helped immensely. It was very easy to sign up, to get a counselor, to use the video platform, etc. They are doing great work!
