I was having some real issues. Somehow you matched me with the perfect therapist on the first referral. She is patient, professional and understanding. The best part is that she is a really good person. I was a total mess in August 2024. I am so much better now thanks to her. She helped me clear my head. She helped me get back to work. BetterHelp allowed me to apply for financial help because I am disabled. Priceless...

Better Help literally changed my life. My therapist helped me “see” my life in ways I was unable to understand on my own, that no one can see on their own. It is very possible for senior men like myself to be living in “thought traps” that can lead to very dark places. I didn’t want that and my Better Help therapist may literally have been my lifeline. If anyone reading this is uncertain about signing up for Better Help, simply take heart and take the next step.

I have been using better help since November 2024. This delivery of therapy is so beneficial to anyone needing to walk through and talk through their junk. My therapist is so knowledgeable, caring, and really listens to what I have to say. He is a great guide in this journey. I also absolutely appreciate the side classes that go live or can be watched later. So helpful. Therapy could not be any easier.

I had tried therapy before for a few sessions and it just wasn’t the right time or right therapist for me. After many more months of remaining depressed and hopeless, I decided to give it another try through better help. I was matched with my therapist, and had my first session. At first I was still skeptical. It’s not a magic pill that automatically makes you feel better after the first session. But I did click with my therapist and decided I would continue with my therapy sessions after the first month. I continued to make progress and changes in my daily habits, routines and self talk and after 3 months have made significant progress in my life. I was suffering from severe depression, no motivation, unhappy… I was a miserable mess. Therapy is a tool that has helped me make significant changes in my life and helped turn me back into my old (new) better version of myself. 🙏🏻

Yes it was hard to do but once you own that you need help, it’s has a lot less anxiety of downloading an app than walking into an office. For me anyway.. I was nervous as first but once I got through the question and began truthful with my answers, the app actually found me a wonderful therapist, I cried happy tears after I got my first session with a therapist.

Company provides good service with their connectivity with a licensed social worker who helped me cope with symptoms of mental issues following a new diagnosis. Also was great to have a culturally aware practitioner who showed curiosity and acceptance. I could open up to the social worker for advice and rely on their support for my journey with the diagnosis. This time with the social worker helped me connect to social work culture, work on self acceptance, and allowed me to grow as a person. Having someone knowledgeable in mental health to talk to helped to lessen my depression symptoms.

It's funny, I thought I knew what I wanted to talk about for therapy. The ease of our conversation has been AMAZING! I appreciate her versatile knowledge while my ADHD brain rattles stories- she keeps up and tunes in to items that I didn't even realize mattered.

Thus far, I’ve had a great experience. In conjunction with my assigned therapist, there are opportunities for me to participate in classes and group therapy sessions which are supplements to individual therapy sessions.
