Shari's BerriesReviews of berries.com

I wish I could leave a zero stars for my order that was not delivered twice then have to wait on refund and now today my friend who was supposed to receive them got them today and showed me the picture and OMG! THEY ARE SPOILED AND TOTALLY UNEDIBLE! I WISH I VOULD UPLOAD THE PIC! DO NOT RECOMMEND!

This used to be a really company that offered very unique quality fresh products delivered to your doorstep. Now it’s about subscriptions, advertising free delivery, but then having a $14.99 service fee charged when you order. Why not just be upfront and say you have a $14.99 delivery fee. Pictured products as you browse their website pictures product price and quantity that aren’t the same when you order. Example: picture shows 12 dipped berries for one price, but the quoted price when you go to buy is only for 6 dipped berries, and if you want the product quantity pictured price is considerably higher. If you don’t want your berries to be cracked or broken when they arrive, you better try the expedited shipping fo even more money. I remember when I used to go into Shari’s Berries, and was always blown away by how huge the strawberries were, but today’s product is average at best. You can go to your local grocery store and buy the berries and chocolate supplies to make 12 beautiful chocolate covered for Less than $12, or you can order Shari’s Berries for around $50-$70. My advise is to spend your money elsewhere. Zero-Stars

This is one of the WORST companies I've ever had to deal with. I ordered some manly strawberries for my boyfriend because unfortunately I am away from him, mid Jan for valentines day. He never got them, so I got in contact with them, told them I gave them ample time to get the order to him, they gave me $20 off my next order (which is never going to happen), "sent" my money back to me via cheque and kept calling me by my boyfriends name. A month later, still no money so I reached out again, this time they called me Joe *confused face* my name is Emma-Jane btw!! and said they'd refund me the money in the form of payment I used .... its been 3 weeks and I've still not got it :l If I could give them -10 star rating I would, such a bad company.

RIP OFF - ordered 2 weeks ago for a special delivery - not seen it yet. Previously ordered last month and they berries arrived 1 week later - spoiled, green and not edible. They offered a $20 coupon for a future ordered. Tried again - suppose to have received my order today - and it is still in TRANSIT. DO NOT BUY from there. RIP OFF.

This company is a ripoff.. they will put you on a monthly subscription unbeknownst to you then won’t refund the money they’ve charged you every month.! I’ve spent over 3 1/2 hours on the phone with no success. The associates on the phone know nothing nor will they ever send you to a supervisor..! This is a terrible company that needs to be closed down.!!

If I could choose less than 1 star, I would. I usually do not share negative reviews but this company has earned it several times over. Placed an order, promised to deliver on set date, the strawberries were late and rotten. I had to track the package and call 5 times to get my refund even when I was promised a call back. Finally... The first refund was a partial refund. Seriously? You want me to pay full price or even half price plus delivery charge for rotten food??? I asked if the customer service rep would want to buy spoiled groceries for full price! Of course she said no! I asked to speak to her supervisor, she said sh was the supervisor. I told her this was terrible business practice and I wanted to speak to her boss. She denied me. Finally after venting about the service, she placed me on hold and came back 3 minutes later to say she could complete the full refund I was owed and give me coupons. I’ll never order again. Who needs a coupon!

I do have to leave a review all the other reviews say it all, received no product and no reimbursement back this company is a scam

My daughter paid extra shipping to have a dozen berries sent to me ontime for my birthday. These berries arrived a week late warm , melted , ruined! I called customer service on her behalf and they said they would ship new berries in Two more days and give her a coupon toward a future order. The new berries that arrived were half the size of the berries in the ruined shipment. I’ve had Shari Berries before and these were not the norm. I decided to email customer service to let them know and after getting five reply’s from a different person each time saying they needed more information , they just stopped corresponding with me. Believe me I will never order from them or there family of brands nor will my daughter. On my initial call I just wanted them to refund her money but they would not.
