Beautiful rug--even better in person, with sophisticated depth of color and an appealing hand. Terrific value (especially for a custom size) and outstanding, personal customer service. Will definitely order for another project.

♥️ vintage rug
Our vintage rug is beautiful. Quite a bit of shedding the first few times we vacuumed. The fringing is pretty tattered, and uneven and some pieces came off with vacuuming. Shipping was prompt and rug was packed really well.

Their product is horrible
Their product is horrible! The rugs constantly should even after giving it time to settle. They do not accept refunds and they do not help you out.
Do not purchase any of their rugs!
The shedding is insanely terrible, and it sticks to all of our clothes

4 x 6 clearly doesn’t mean anything to this company
i ordered my second 4 x 6 rug which arrived months later and measures 44 x 69. that is not 4 x 6. after going back and forth with the company and they asked to send pictures with a tape measure to show the inaccuracy i did. then i received an email that showed a screenshot of the disclaimer that i never saw that says the rugs can be + or - 5 %. huh. i now have a rug that i cannot use that they are refusing to refund or allow me to send back. bad business imo to make a customer pay for. not be allowed to return a rug that is NOT as advertised.
it isn’t 70” it’s 69 and you write me prior saying you would do anything to make it right. 3inches of the length of the rug is not a minor discrepancy. i would never buy another rug from a company that doesn’t value customer service. as i stated you were ready to do “anything” 5 inches off the dimensions of a 4 x 6 rug should not be advertised as 4 x 6. i would never order from a company like yours again.
happy holidays

Hello Julie,
Thank you for sharing your feedback. We truly appreciate hearing from our customers and are sorry that your experience has caused frustration.
The rug you purchased was a made-to-order, handcrafted piece, created by skilled artisans who put their heart and soul into every knot. Each custom made rug is individually woven, and slight variations in size are a natural part of this artisanal process. You ordered a 4 x 6 ft rug, and the rug we sent measures 46 x 70 inches—slightly smaller than the nominal size (2 inch less), which falls well within the typical ±5% variation allowed for handmade rugs.
Our artisans dedicate considerable time and care to each piece, ensuring that every rug is not only functional but also a work of art that carries the history, tradition, and unique character of the weaving culture. These small differences are a testament to the authenticity, warmth, and soul of handcrafted rugs Qualities that cannot be replicated by mass-produced items.
For clarity, in-stock rugs are exact in size, so the dimensions you see are the dimensions you receive. Made-to-order rugs, however, celebrate natural variation and individuality. We sincerely regret if the disclaimer about size variation was not clear at the time of purchase, as we specify this slight size variation directly on the product page of the concerned items to ensure customers have this information before purchasing.
We also note that this is not your first rug order with us, and hope you may consider in-stock rugs in the future if precise sizing is a key priority, as these items are available to exact dimensions while still reflecting our quality and design standards.
We understand that receiving a handcrafted piece that differs slightly from the expected size can be disappointing. We hope that knowing the rug is within the handmade tolerance and the story of the artisans behind it helps you appreciate the care, dedication, and passion that goes into each rug. Every piece tells a story and brings a sense of warmth, beauty, and originality to the home it adorns.
Thank you again for your feedback and for supporting artisanal craftsmanship and our dedicated artisans.
Warm regards,
KS

Craftsmanship, Quality and Elegance
I purchased a beautiful large kilim rug. This is my second purchase from Benisouk and I can’t be happier. The rug has a rich blue color and is tightly woven with nicely finished edges. It uplifted the entire room with its easy elegance and artistic craftsmanship. I was lucky to find exactly what I was looking for and with a great price. I’m looking forward to my next purchase.
