Wool Rug
Overall a good experience and a really nice rug. The process is super long, it took 4 months from ordering to delivery, but there were semi-regular updates so the communication was good.

It's just taking a very long time
It's just taking a very long time, much longer than anyone from Benisouk had ever quoted. It's March 9, and this rug order was placed in mid-October. We get an e-mail every other month... oh, it's been completed, now it is just being washed. Oh, it's being prepared for shipping. From what we hear, the rug has been finished since early January. We live in an apartment where we are supposed to have rug covering on our floor, so the wait is actually bad for our downstairs neighbors. Edit: added one star since the refund was processed without incident, but see that in benisouk’s reply they say to expect 10-12 weeks for custom rugs. This order was placed over 20 weeks ago, and still no rug. Only through constant prodding did I learn that they were eventually unhappy with the quality of my rug. Anything but a proactive response in light of this wait is just so suspect. The damage control? 10% discount offered, nothing exceptional.

We are very demanding on the quality of our final products, which is why we work with the best craftswomen in Morocco to ensure that the final product is exceptional. We are well aware of the inconvenience of the delay, of course you are entitled to an exceptional discount if you want a rug in stock or a full refund on your payment method. Our customer service has already reach out to you regarding this and they are waiting for your decision!

Amazing Vendor
Benisouk is a great vendor for us as interior designers. They are very communicative and have both unique vintage pieces along with custom items. We will most definitely be using them for our projects in the future!
