Tried to extend the standard warranty from 2 years to 3 by registering my device. It did not even find the correct device though number was given correctly. They make it super hard to register. Also, upon filling in the customer request, it does not get sent out. For now I can only give 1 star, I cannot start to understand how they obtained an apple approval. *Update: tried loading phones, it works though it seems somewhat slow. No problems with placement of the phone as other reviews mention. registering took some effort but possible on another pc.

In December last year I tried to claim for a surge protector which failed during a lightening strike on the 7th. I telephoned the company and explained the situation and subsequently received a claim form together with instructions on how to proceed. I complied with all instructions, sent off the faulty item to the address provided and heard nothing from the company. On numerous occasions thereafter I telephoned the company quoting the case number with which I had been provided requesting an update on the situation. I was asked to forward a copy of the claim form together with proof of postage which I did, but still received no acknowledgement of receipt. On 28th January I had still heard nothing so I phoned again and was told the matter was still being validated and that I would receive an update soon. Still no response. I telephoned again on 16th February and was told that the case would be "escalated" again. Still nothing heard. Since then I have sent further e-mails criticising their lack of customer service and to date have received no response. I have received 4 customer service surveys and have answered a couple honestly all be it saying how poor I have found their lack of service. This company does, in my opinion, not know what good customer service is. I am completing this review in the vain hope that it may at least prompt some form of response/explanation as to how Belkin can continue trading when their after sales service appears to be non existent.

Ich habe ebenfalls eine Folie für mein iPhone im Apple Store gekauft, die jetzt nach 1 1/2 Jahren eine Blase geworfen hat. Ich bin zu Apple bzgl des Austauschs, dort wurde mir gesagt das ich mich an Belkin wenden soll. Gesagt getan, habe ich online ein Formular ausgefüllt und mein Problem geschildert. 3 Tage später habe ich nun eine nagelneue Folie im Briefkasten. Besser gehts nicht! Super. Ich war auch ein wenig schockiert über die negativen Kommentare hier und dachte auch schon das klappt bestimmt nicht, aber ich wurde eines besseren belehrt und freue mich über die kostenlose neue Folie.

I’ll be honest I didn’t even want to give them one star but I had to to write this review. Absolute joke of a warranty on there screen protector, I bought it with a life time warranty and it’s nearly impossible to claim, they want chapter and verse of how it happened POP and photos. Never will I buy any belkin products again 😡

I wish I had read the belkin reviews before I wasted £29 on a screen protector for my iPhone 12pro max. The protector cracked and it’s a very poor experience trying to claim a replacement. The phone line says closed when it’s open and the web chat doesn’t work. Just avoid Belkin, very disappointed that Apple have an arrangement with them.

Absolute total waste of money. Do not bother wasting your money on what you think is a superior product. It simply isn’t. Purchase something exactly the same on Amazon for a fraction of the cost.

Absolute Katastrophe! Kein Service ! Schutzfolie von Belkin im Apple Store gekauft mit lebenslanger Garantie! Ist die Folie aber kaputt fängt das Drama an ! Seit vier Monaten mach ich mit Belkin rum. Behaupten das es diese Folie nicht mehr gibt dann wieder doch. Reagieren nicht auf emails versprechen sich zu melden aber nix ist und wenn bekommt man eine Standard Email das es das Produkt nicht mehr gibt -was nicht der Wahrheit entspricht ! Sowas nennt sich Abzocke !!!

Ich habe eine Schutzfolie für mein iPhone im Apple-Store von Belkin gekauft und vor Ort per Maschine drauf machen lassen. Der Hersteller Belkin verspricht lebenslange Garantie und einen kostenlosen Umtausch bei Defekt. Ich nahm über einen sehr komplizierten Support Kontakt zu Belkin auf im September 2021. Ich wurde zuerst bis Dezember 2021 hingehalten, dass meine Schutzfolie nicht lieferbar/vorrätig sei. Dann bekam ich einen Vorschlag mein Geld zurück zu bekommen, dies könnte allerdings bis zu 30 Tagen dauern. Stand heute März 2022: Belkin antwortet auf keine meiner Emails, Geld oder eine neue Schutzfolie habe ich bis heute noch nicht erhalten und der Apple-Store will damit nichts zutun haben und weist auf Belkin zurück.
