First I would like to thank Jamie for answering all my phone calls, text, and emails. I was nervous about going to Mexico and having surgery done but she answered all my questions no matter how ridiculous. A matter a fact I spoke to several other companies and went to several consultations before having surgery and asked the same questions. I ended up choosing beLiteWeight not just because of the price but Jamie was the only person I spoke to that I felt I could get a real answer from. About the process: WOW!!! I was shocked how friendly everyone was at the hospital. I speak NO SPANISH so there was a couple times i had to use a translating app. But that was at check in and with my rooms cleaning service. All my nurses and Dr spoke English well. In the end I was most thankful I had surgery there because the hospital staff were so caring!!! Way better service then our local hospitals. When I felt any pain they actually cared and did everything they could to help me feel better. When I pushed the help button next to my bed a nurse was almost immediately in my room. My nurses were Julian, Enriquez, and Maria -fer. I wish I could go back and thank them personally for being so KIND and caring! Lastly, the Dr.s including the anesthesiologist were all very kind. Before surgery I spoke to 2 Dr's on seperate occasions letting me know what to expect and answering all my questions. Then after surgery the same 2 Dr's came by my room on separate occasions to check on me and answer more questions. All in All a GREAT experience! They exceeded ALL my expectations!!!!

Best experience ever!!!! Both me and my husband have got the surgery thrue belightweight and Jamie has been nothing but supportive for the both of us! Would totally recommend it to anyone. We were treated so well at the hospital as well. 1 week post operation and I feel so Amazing!!

It really was a great place to have my surgery, Dr's introduced themselves before and checked in with me after. The surgery was quick and after waking up i was walking within 30 mins all the staff was friendly.. I would recommend Dr Elmo and Dr Rodriguez they are a great team. Thank you belight im 9 days post op back to work and 16 lbs down already wish i had done this sooner..

My first experience with Joanne and BeLiteWeight was in 2011. I contacted BeLiteWeight after a horrible experience with a bariatric surgeon in Cancun. To sum it up, I travelled to Cancun, paid for my surgery in full, and was taken to the operating room in a small, dated, clinic. When I woke from the anesthesia, my husband told me that the doctor started the surgery and then decided I had too much scar tissue , then proceeded to stich me up. I was also told that I would not get any of my $7,000.00 refunded and that no other doctor would do surgery on me. I was beyond crushed. A few months later I contacted BeLiteWeight and told Joanne about my surgical nightmare. She told me that if I wanted to send my films to her, she would have Dr. Rodriguez look at them and give me his opinion on the possibility the surgery being safely and successfully performed. After reviewing my films, Dr. Rodriguez took the time to call me and discuss my case. He said that I did have a large amount of scar tissue, and that it would make surgery more difficult but that he felt confident that my procedure could be performed successfully without any inordinate risk. Joanne was also kind enough to create a contract especially for me outlining the cost breakdown and the charges should the surgery not be able to be compmeted . All of this and I had not even scheduled a date or paid a penny. My surgery was a complete success and I have had no complications. My experience was seamless from beginning to end. The hospital was modern, ckean, and beautiful. The staff was kind and well trained. I was so happy with my results that I took my brother to Juarez for a gastric bypass. His lap band surgery was botched in the US and he was left with a lap band dangling inside of him, causing stomach erosion. Because of his morbid obesity 515 pounds, no doctor in the US wanted to treat him. He was pretty much just waiting to die. Dr. Rodriguez petformed a gastric bypass on him successfully. He has had no complications and has lost close to 300 pounds. I have since had revision surgery going from a sleeve to a bypass and am thrilled with the results. I have no trouble maintaining my weight and love being able to wear a size 4. When it comes to Joanne and BeLiteWeight, I trust them 110%. They are the VERY BEST!

First, I've got to thank my contact at BeLite, Jessica Espino, for her amazing professionalism and personalization of her own experience with using BeLite for her weightloss surgery. Dr. Rodriguez performed my Lap-Band to Gastric Sleeve revision on 3/29/18 in Juarez and I have to say that my care by everyone at the facility far surpassed my expectations (DISCLAIMER: LapBand performed elsewhere). Despite the language barrier, the nursing staff was extremely attentive and met all of my needs. The surgeons, all FACS board certified in the US, as well as the anesthesiologist who is board certified in the US met with me before and after my surgery to monitor my well-being and progress. A nutritionist met with me to discuss a successful eating plan once I returned home. I have never had a better hospital stay anywhere compared to the one I experienced there. I started my journey at 266 lbs and I've been down to 167 lbs for several months now, amazing!!! I would recommend BeLite and the weightloss facilty/staff at Juarez to everyone.

Everything was more than what I could ask for it was perfect I was pleasantly surprised. I met my whole team of doctors and nurses nutritionist. I am so thankful to Jessica Espina she was my Patient Facilitator, She made sure I had all the information that I needed before my decision was made to have the surgery. She made me comfortable in my decision. And the hospital was very nice.
