I’m genuinely disappointed. I’ve always considered BÉIS a high-end brand, but my recent experience suggests otherwise. I’ve been unable to process a return because my order has been stuck as “on its way,” for over a week, and despite multiple attempts to get help, I’ve only received repeated generic responses with no resolution.
For a brand positioned at this level, this kind of dysfunction in customer support is surprising and erodes trust.

Don't buy from them
Don't buy from them. Their customer service is crap. I bought a $300+ suitcase from them. Their shipper never delivered it and they won't help me. Literally ghosted me. No refund and no replacement. I'm going to dispute the charge. But these people are thieves.
They also don't stand by their products. They sold me a suitcase with a defective lock and refused to replace it. Buyer beware. Find a company that cares about keeping customers

Import taxes not advised until checkout.
I purchased the mini weekender a few years ago which I am happy with. I deceived to purchase the medium check in roller from Beis UK site and added to the basket. I reviewed the costs and it qualified for free shipping. I used the express purchase via Apple Pay and after making payment I noticed the prices changed on the Apple Pay pop up window confirming payment made. I checked the email confirmation and I noted that a “duties” fee was added. Upon investigation this is an import tax. So whilst they refer to themselves as Beis UK in the order confirmation they are not registered in the UK hence adding the import tax. This is hidden in the T&Cs that they will add import taxes at checkout. I cancelled my order as it just felt very underhand. For their UK site they should show the prices with all taxes included so it’s more transparent for customers. I know this is how they advertise in the US about you’re selling in the UK and should seek to mirror the procedures normally followed for the market you’re selling.

Horrible customer service
Horrible customer service. Don't use them. You can can get great travel pieces at plenty of other places that take care of their customers. I simply tried to exchange a piece that was a present for a different color and they refused to honor the sale price. Somehow the system canceled my exchange so they took it as a return. I simply said "no I just want an exchange so please send me the same item in a different color". They refused even though their system glitched and gave me a store credit for half of what I had to pay for the same item. So had to pay WAY more for the same piece. Will never shop here again!

Disappointing Durability – Vegan Leather Peeling After Minimal Use
I purchased the BÉIS Weekender bag a few years ago and have used it only about 9 times for occasional trips. Despite light use, the vegan leather trim has completely peeled away in multiple areas, exposing the underlying lining and making the bag look worn out and unpresentable.
This level of deterioration is unacceptable for a product marketed as high-quality travel gear. The bag’s overall durability is poor, and it fails to hold up even under normal, infrequent conditions.
Additionally, BÉIS does not appear to offer any warranty, repair, or replacement service for this issue on non-luggage items like the Weekender (their limited lifetime warranty applies only to hard-shell luggage). I reached out but received no meaningful resolution.
I cannot recommend this bag to anyone expecting long-term reliability. Save your money and look for alternatives with better material quality and customer support.

Horrible customer service and quality…
Just wanted to share my experience, as it was horrendous. Long story short, I purchased the largest piece of luggage they offer, and it came internally scratched and stained (looks like a manufacturer's defect). I emailed customer service, and they asked for photos of course, and what was interesting is they asked to see a little white tag, maybe it had a batch code or something. Anyway, they showed me exactly where to find it, and I turned the bag inside out and upside down. It did not have internal tags anywhere on it. I should also point out that when I was unzipping the internal zippers as requested by CS to find this white tag, the bag looked built very sloppy and unfinished with jagged pieces of clear plastic visibly glued on holding everything together. This raised concerns about whether or not I even received an authentic product. Not sure how this item would even hold up longterm (and a bit of foreshadowing here, I will never find out!) However, they said they would send a new suitcase, so I did not think much of it then. I received the new suitcase and opened it up, and it had the exact same issue, but worse black staining than the first. Clearly, horrible quality control. I again reached out to customer service right away, and they said they could offer a 15% discount or I could get a full refund by clicking the link provided and processing the return there. I clicked this link, and firstly, it asked for my order number, and I directly copied and pasted it multiple times and said "order not found," so the beginning of their faulty processes. I proceeded to read the rest of the returns page, where it very clearly indicated "IMPORTANT: products must have original tags/packaging and be unused, etc.". The customer service rep also clearly stated in the email to me that I would only receive a refund after my items were received back and "approved" by the warehouse team. So logically, this does not make sense in my situation, as even though the items have tags, they are damaged and not brand-new-looking. At this point, I had zero faith they even had internal communication as to where these warehouse people would even know the situation, and just see the damage and send them back to me. A very unreliable, faulty and confusing process. I then waited another day and a half while they "escalated the issue," which was the wrong link they sent me for their own return process. A few days later, they sent the correct link to where my order number was reconginized but the suitcase showed "qty: 1", not 2. Therefore, how am I supposed to ship the other one back if it does not give me the option to? I explained this to them again in my email, and they just kept saying "yes, both suitcases need to be returned" and then proceeded to send me screenshots of the exact same thing I was already seeing where it said "qty 1". They also told me I would need to upload more photos of each item to be return even though I provided extensive photo documentation of each suitcase prior, and they have access to all of those images internally in previous emails. I also wanted to point out multiple times across multiple emails that I mentioned to them I am now stuck with two giant pieces of luggage (32" x 18.5" x 13" to be exact, and 15 pounds each). I explained that for health reasons, I do not currently drive nor have a car. I would need a carrier pick up arranged for the suitcases, which at this point is really the least they could do and never once was this request even acknowledged. Still no resolution, just scripted customer service emails, meaningless apologies, faulty processes, days of being given the run around and a ton of my time wasted. Personally, unless you have a lot of time on your hands, enjoy paying high prices for damaged goods and enjoy a huge headache, I would stay away.

Would NOT recommend
Would NOT recommend! I’ve had the diaper bag for less than 2 years and the 2 way zippers have completely broke and the entire zipper is ripping at the seams. Terrible quality for a $200 bag! Never again, AVOID AT ALL COSTS
