This is great in concept, but only if your home is already temperature controlled. If you don’t have AC already, you won’t be able to cool down much. Max temp reduction for the BedJet is 10 degrees. My home got up to 88 degrees tonight and so the air could only be cooled to 78, which is not cool enough for sleeping comfortably.

waste of money
I got my first unit almost 2 years ago and have really had a lot of problems since then, and I spoke with customer service today and they told me if they replaced the unit again I would be on my fourth unit so it's probably my own problem basically. Of all the times I emailed with customer service and they asked me questions and no one ever asked me or told me that I should have it plugged into its own outlet, yet the cord it comes with his short and there's not an outlet from where it needs to be positioned in my bed so if my only option is to use an extension cord that does not have multiple ports. the guy I spoke to on the phone, he told me I should try plugging it into a friends house or another room like lol this is where I sleep. It is Texas Summer and my unit not functioning right. The fact that when I got my units, they function decently, but the other couple units I got compared to my first unit didn't really work right from the start in my opinion. It's annoying that even the slightest bit of sheet in the way completely blocks the fan from getting air but regardless I was able to keep it on only five or 10% and feel decently cold air for months and now if I don't put it on at least like 25 to 50%, I barely feel anything coming out even from the unit when I disconnect the hose and plugging it into another outlet or an outlet on its own without an extension cord did not make a difference for me. I was perfectly fine sending back the old unit and the current units so that the warehouse could look, but the guy basically told me they've never had this issue so the fact that I've had multiple units it's clearly my electrical or my house when everything else here works perfectly fine all the time. I wish I could get my money back but now it's obviously too late after all this time but it's not exactly a cheap product so I don't get how people give it such good reviews, it is not that wonderful. The guy suggested I keep it at 100% lol the point is that it functions from 5 to 100% I shouldn't have to keep it on 100 it also makes it louder obviously

Thank you for sharing your experience, and I'm truly sorry to hear about the continued frustration you've had with your BedJet. This is certainly not the experience we aim to provide, and I completely understand how disappointing it must be, especially during the Texas summer, when the product isn't performing as expected.
I’d like to clarify a few points that may help shed light on the situation. We did note in both the BedJet user manual and on our online FAQ that the unit must be plugged directly into a dedicated wall outlet, not through an extension cord or surge protector. This is important for consistent power delivery and system protection, and we’re sorry that this detail was missed in your case.
That said, I’ve reviewed your communication history and can confirm that we did share this recommendation during each past replacement as part of our troubleshooting process. I do recognize, however, that it's frustrating when this guidance doesn’t come through clearly or doesn't appear to resolve the issue.
Regarding the power cord length: the design is limited by UL safety certification requirements, which prevent us from extending it beyond the approved specification. We understand this can be a challenge depending on outlet placement, and we’re always working to improve usability while maintaining compliance.
Our support team’s intent in suggesting testing in a different outlet or environment was not to dismiss your concern but to help isolate whether environmental factors might be contributing, since it is extremely rare to see the same issue occur across multiple replacement units. That said, your concerns are absolutely valid, and we take them seriously.
I've personally followed up with another email to you today to continue helping resolve the issue. If for any reason the message doesn’t come through, or if you have further questions or concerns, you’re very welcome to contact me directly at [email protected]. Our goal is, and always has been, to provide the best experience possible, and I’m here to ensure we get things on the right track for you.
Thank you again for your patience and for being a BedJet customer.

just a fan
I have had my BedJet since around April or May 2023. I can’t remember. I am an extremely hot sleeper. I don’t sweat. I just get hot internally so when I kept getting ads for this product, after year, so I decided to get it. I had heard great things. I wish I had checked this website first. Someone else mentioned it is basically just a fan that blows under the sheets and that is exactly what it is. It matches the temperature in the room and won’t get any colder. I’m in Texas, and the whole summer was miserable. I would not have slept at all if it wasn’t for the BedJet however, it is extremely frustrating to use. and, the one I have now is a replacement, because the first one wasn’t cooling at all after a while. It seemed like it wasn’t working as well. So I contacted support which was easy to access so I don’t know why people are reviewing customer service badly. I had a great experience. But they were a little annoying because they kept telling me things I already knew and stated in the email and kept telling me it’s not gonna get colder than the room and all this stuff. Misleading ad advertising.
if I use their attachment to make it taller than my bed, it moves around a lot even though I have it as the instructions show to have it. Wedged between my mattress and sturdy in the clip with the hose unclogged. The hose seems like it will extend, but it just bounces back so you cannot extend it. And when I have it resting at foot level on top of my bed, if I even slightly move the blanket or sheets, and it covers it, then you don’t feel the fan blowing at all. At one point I even tried it under, my sheets instead to see how that would work but it’s just does not work well and if you have it really high, it’s basically just a fan like I stated not cold air and then it’s just loud and blows too hard to be comfortable. Like I said, I wouldn’t sleep without it but it’s really not that great and it’s very expensive for what it does.

Hi Arlo,
Thank you for sharing your review!
We apologize for any inconvenience you’ve experienced. The BedJet is not an air conditioner (A/C) and can only adjust the air temperature to match or exceed the ambient room temperature. It employs a convective cooling method, which effectively keeps you cool in bed if your bedroom temperature is 78 degrees Fahrenheit or lower. However, it is not a portable air conditioner and cannot replace the lack of air conditioning in extremely hot bedrooms (such as a 90-degree Arizona summer bedroom without AC). The BedJet draws cooler air from the floor, which is typically a few degrees cooler than your thermostat setting.
We often receive inquiries from owners who may misunderstand how the BedJet’s cooling function works. To address this, we provide education about its functionality and offer troubleshooting steps to ensure that any issues are not due to misunderstanding before considering replacements under warranty.
Regarding installation, if the bracket and hose are properly installed, they should not move excessively. If you can share photos of your current setup, we’d be happy to review it further.
Please contact our team if you have additional questions or concerns to [email protected], we are happy to assist!
