The carving tools work good but the case for the tools is too small for the tools to go in.

I purchased several BeaverCraft gouges for spoon/bowl carving with a youthful carving student via Amazon. Later, I was gifted a BeaverCraft knife and strop set by my grandson. My young student enjoyed working with the bowl gouges. I very much enjoy using the knife set. The tools hold their edges well. They handle well, and are comfortable in the hand. (I am mostly self taught, practicing for 13 years. I teach young people and adults, alike.)

So I really like the package and have some other beavercraft knives and sets but the blade in this one came dull and had a chip. Luckily I have what was needed to fix the blade but I don't think most would. For that I gave 3 stars.

The tools work great. No complaints

The tools arrived well packaged and very sharp. As long as I strop the edge frequently and keeps a good edge since I'm carving a spoon out of a piece of maple the tools are performing very well! The handles are nice size so I can get a good grip om the tool.

I've purchased from Beavercraft numerous times, both through their Amazon store as well as directly through their website, and have had nothing but an excellent buying experience every single time. Their customer service team is quick and responsive, despite the time zone difference between where I live and their headquarters in Ukraine, and they've always been professional, courteous, and helpful. I will continue to buy from them with confidence.

I am quite pleased with BeaverCraft. All of my wood carving tools are BeaverCraft from their axe to spoon carving and even chipping tools, I’ve been happy with their tools. I had trouble with one, the axe handle broke, but they replaced it super quick without hassle. I realize, by price point, they may not be the highest quality, but as a beginner, I haven’t discovered why. And face it, I will not carve daily for the next twenty years so I don’t think it matters. There are a few more tools I still want and I’ll get them from BeaverCraft when the time comes.
