I received the carving knives kit I…
I received the carving knives kit I ordered. The knives were scattered around the box, one of them without the blade protection on, but the box was intact, so I don't feel the need to complain about that. Everything seemed fine, but when I tested the sharpness of the knives with a sheet of paper (and recorded it just in case) I found out they were not all razor sharp as described on their site. I tried to contact the costumer assistance to tell them about the sharpness, but I had to wait an avarage of half a month in between replies for them to not be helpful at all and It seemed like the answers they kept on giving me were just a copy and paste of what they answered previously, without addressing what I was saying. I don't have big complaints about the product and at the beginning It wasn't really a huge issue, but I don't appreciate the lack of assistance.

Near perfect
All three knifes are amazing, excellent handling, excellent cutting, very good looks. Downside is, one has a little bit of rust on the handle, and another one has some stiches broken on the sheath(both problem were here when i unboxed them) Some oil treatment has done the job and i was thinking of making my own sheath, not a big deal but could have been perfect.

The wood i relieved was of poor…
The wood i relieved was of poor quality. The grain was very loose and split easily making it hard to get a good Finnish.

Wrong tools but good product
I specifically ordered from Beaver craft because they have left-handed hook knives. I was very excited to start working on spoons. I waited for a long time and that was OK but when I received my package, the hook knife was a right handed hook knife. Not the right one. And when I reached out, I have not heard anything back. The only other thing that brings it down to a three star is that the wood I got is a little smaller than I was hoping for. Hard to make spoons out of them. But that’s OK as well, I am just beginning and I’m looking forward to continuing still worth the purchase, just some gaps in customer service and accurate shipment.

That the shipping will take awhile.
The shipping has to improve tremendously. The knife I got was a very nice knife very happy more than happy if you understand what I’m trying to say the leather sheath on the other hand, I think it’s a little flimsy but will do the job. On the sheet I think needs to be a little bit thicker leather, a little stiffer other than that very good product.

Good products, but very bothersome outreach.
The knife that I ordered was good quality, but I didn't realize that simply making an order would sign me up for email after email asking for a rating, and then a review. I wish that expectation had been made more clear at the time of purchase.
