Was struggling to rectify a bad situation with a company and felt it best to take it through BBB, and boy was I wrong! I was never provided a case number, just a temporary ID, only one follow up on my complaint, which I responded to immediately, then didn't receive another response with exception to them saying my complaint was closed due to me not responding. I dug into the complaint to find out the company did respond to my response, but it was never sent to me, and without a proper case number, I couldn't look anything up without them sending me information. I dug through my emails and they never sent me communication about the most recent response. Doing a little reading online the BBB has been known to be a "pay to play" company where they really don't care about the consumer, just lining their pockets. It's a virtual mafia, shaking down bad companies for money in order to get a good rating.

Normally my experiences with the BBB has been good. However, today was horrible. Recently I filed a complaint against Chexsytems using the BBB website. I found out today that BBB allows Chexsystems control over the closing out the complaint, instead of the customer or the one filing the complaint. Chexsystems is falsely giving out information that is not true. The money that BBB gets from the company, allows the company control the BBB site

REMITLY, Seattle, Washington has robbed me of $4,000.00 since 31 March 2023, and returned nothing, and did not transfer the money to it intended destination. This business has been systematically robbing its customers, as per reviews of large sums of money for some time. They Rob you, and then disappear, refuse to acknowledge their criminal Scam.

I’m leaving this review on behalf of the Taschny contracting company. I’ve been working with Lisa on my home claim and she has been nothing but amazing. I also decided to use this company to put in seven new windows in my home and they did a wonderful job. Roof is done by them and it is perfect! Hoping to get siding finished in the next few weeks here.

Complete waste of time. They do nothing for the consumer. The rating is absolutely false and the way they calculate the ratings don't make sense. All they do is send back and forth e-mails that end up is the spam. Most never see those e-mails. What a waste of money, what a waste of time and fake help for consumers

In the past i trusted BBB review and made purchase from company with 5 star review on BBB. Now, when I see that webpage certified by BBB, I always count this against them, and use every avenue not to use services of this webpage. I have 0 trust for bbb review.

Wasted my time with BBB - this is what I received at the end: "Unfortunately, we don't have the ability to forward your complaint to Service Alberta. We are non-profit and they are a government agency. So, you may have to explain your situation from the beginning." They only run a mail server and are not able to resolve any issues.

The BBB does a fantastic job in helping consumers. If for some reason they can’t assist with an issue they always follow up and will refer you to the appropriate entity. Good Job !!!!
