Provided our loved one with emergency help when needed
The Bay Alarm system provided a sense of safety for my mothers peace of mind but it was worth so much more when it came to needing it. Unfortunately she needed to summon an ambulance and was able to communicate through the speaker without having to get to a phone herself. The call center summoned the ambulance and then promptly contacted me (daughter) as listed. The system was utilized twice and both times were just as helpful. My only con to the situation is....when they contact the family, their call needs to come up on caller ID as the Bay Alarm or an Emergency service and not just a random toll free number. I'm sure other people monitor which calls to pickup based on potential solicitors etc. If I hadn't been near the phone when they spoke on the answering machine we would have missed this critical call. Sadly my mother has passed but when we needed the Alarm it worked flawlessly.
