Bath & Body WorksReviews of bathandbodyworks.com

Very disappointed with the tiny purse size item that is supposed to be the birthday reward. The company should be EMBARASSED to downsize their gift (and a purchase is required to receive it...B.S.) You should be ASHAMED of yourselves, after customers spend plenty of money in your store ALL YEAR LONG.

The worst customer service I have ever received. I opened a jar of body scrub to find out that the texture of it was so weird, seemed yucky and spoiled. I only use their body scrub and in general I’ve been happy with it but this time. Went to Danbury Mall in CT for an exchange, but because I didn’t have the receipt they wouldn’t take it or would value it at the lowest price. The girls at the register were extremely rude. One of them said to me that there is nothing wrong with it just mix it and it will be fine. I said to her I never seen a texture like this. She used a hard object to mix the salt contained part of the scrub which was solidified into a very hard material at the bottom of the container with the top of it which looked like spit. I told them this is not practical at all that each time I need to use it I have to use a hard object to mix it. It is so easy with other scrubs I use from that brand. To be honest that scrub looked so disgusting. They didn’t do anything. Above all, I asked them if they can at least provide me a little bag to carry it around the mall, but she said we don’t give bags if you don’t buy anything. Really? What happened to the humanity? I felt so disrespected and I can see here that I’m not the only one to be unsatisfied and unfairly treated. Shame on them on how they treat the customers. Update: I called the headquarters of the brand and I was promised that they will address this incident and they also apologized to me.

TWICE I placed an online order to pick up at the store and TWICE they cancelled my order after only TWO DAYS! When I reached out to ask if they would re-instill my offer, they would not honor the pricing. They are over-priced anyway. DON'T BOTHER!

The delivery was a disaster. Even can't reach the customer service. never ever again.

Employees very rude and nasty. Spoke to the Manager Jennifer. The manager was worse than employees. They cancel one of my order. When I asked, to just give me the same thing I purchased on yesterday sale $5.95 for 1 item. Jennifer said, that not their policy and I need to pay full price for thing I get today . Even though when I placed my order it went through as they had it in stock when I ordered it. But I need to pay for full price today. Don’t go to this store in Pompano Beach FL Federal Highway.

I don't know where to start. I have never ever seen a company with such horrible customer service skills like the so called supervisors at their call center line 1800-756-5005. Let me just keep it very simple so that I don't confuse anyone. A few weeks ago I lit one of their island margarita candles that I bought. After 2 hours I heard a very loud popping sound. As I went to check I saw that the glass on one side of the candle literally burned off and shattered into pieces inside of the melted wax. I've never seen that happen before and I have burned their candles for years. The next day I called that number to report what happened. The rep promised to email me a $25 gift card for the inconvenience. After waiting for over a week I decided to call back. The first agent who I spoke with said the previous agent a week before didn't process the gift card request CORRECTLY which was why I never received the email. She said she had to redo the whole process again and that I had to give it another few days to get it. I then called back to see if I can report this situation to a supervisor to find out why this is happening. Huge mistake. A supervisor finally comes, I explained everything to her. Gave her my order/ticket number which the previous agent was able to access without an issues. This so called supervisor claimed she couldn't upload my ticket number and that she couldn't see any notes regarding my case. She never tried to go the extra mile to see HOW she can access it, maybe through other means. She then asked me to re-explain the whole thing which made no sense because it's ALL there for everyone of them to see. After I told her that she said I should call them back whenever I'm ready to talk about what happened AND then quickly hung up in my face! I filed a complaint against them with the BBB. The next day I get a call in the morning from that same number where an agent called to discuss the candle situation. The connection on her side was extremely bad and I couldn't hear anything else she said. The call got disconnected and she never bothered to call me back. I waited for hours to get a call. I then called them back my damn self. I was told a supervisor will call me back later. I never heard anything after hours. I called again. Was told a supervisor will call tomorrow. I waited and after still not getting a call I then called back again MYSELF where the agent who answered claimed to be a supervisor. After I explained the situation over and over, she claimed she saw where the agent called me the day before but didn't see why. Also didn't go the extra mile as a supervisor is supposed to but didn't. I asked to speak to another supervisor other than her due to her being helpful. I was then blind transferred to a totally different department who couldn't help me with my case. I'm done with this company for good.

I always got so excited when I get B&BW gift cards because my all time favorite was Coco Cabana and Cozy Evening. I don’t care about anything else in that store but those 2 scents. It really infuriates me that they discontinued the Coco Cabana one years ago, and I guess Cozy Evening is either seasonal or also discontinue. The ones that smell amazing they need to have in body care, as well as home fragrance and wallflowers, and they need to keep them year round. But noooooooo instead they pull the good stuff and keep the atrocious offensive horrible scents year round like Moonlit Path, Japanese Cherry Blossom, and Eucalyptus. And let’s not even get me started on the fact that when there is a sale you can’t order online and do pickup because they disable that, AND for example today the wallflower refills are $3.95. You can get those but all of sudden they don’t have one single plug available to purchase? Accept for the $20 ones? And to make matters worse, their shipping cost and time to receive your items is down right appalling. I think I’m going to boycott them for real this time.

BEWARE of this company, they are unscrupulous bunch of scallywags. Advertise buy 1 get 1 free what a load of bull---t. I have phoned & emailed,no answer to anything. This is one company that I WILL report to the ACCC Glen W Townsend NSW
