Bath and Body Works is one of my favorite stores ever: however, I’ll never order anything online again!! I ordered something for my daughter for Mothers Day It wasn’t until after I submitted the order that I received notification they were running behind. I tried to cancel because I wanted her to get something by Mother's Day, but I was told once an order is submitted, it can’t be cancelled. (It was 5 min later.) On Monday I got an email saying it was “about to ship’. It’s Wednesday and it still hasn’t been sent. I don’t appreciate being strung along. Hope she gets it before Fathers Day!! Again, love the store. But their online delivery service is TERRIBLE!!

They shall offer free shipping to encourage us to stay at home during covid-19.

I originally got an email on the 22nd of the month saying my shipment would arrive on the 31st and if I wanted to sign up with my cell phone number to get texting notices for my shipping progress.. so I did that.I only received one text message saying my order would arrive on the 27th. So I stayed home and waited all day for it and it never arrived. So then you're finally did arrive on the 28th. Which I never received a message from saying it had been delivered. It was all just really awkward. Really bad tracking system for deliveries. I still have not even got an email saying it had been delivered. I'm grateful I received my order that's for sure. I still love bath & body works products. I read online they were closing all their stores 2100 of them by September 2020. I sure hope that's not true.

i wanted to give more stars but i am getting too aggravated to do so. Their gift card numbers DO NOT WORK and yet they still continue to send them. You cannot tell what you’ll end up with from your order, because all too often, they’ve cancelled items from your order due to no stock.... but AFTER you order!!! And you cannot cancel your order. And i must add, i will not ever again call the 1800 no. due to the extremely irritating “music” on the waiting line. Can’t they find something decent with so much great music out there??

I'm a regular customer of Bath & Body Works and usually I'm very happy with the online shopping experience. Unfortunately this year not so much. My mother loves Sweet Pea which is one of the discontinued scents. So since they no longer carry it in the stores, I ordered Sweet Pea Bath Gel, Body Spray and Body Lotion for my my mom along with 3 items of my favorite discontinued scents on 12/10/2019. I received a notice that my package was delivered on 12/14/2019. I live in an apartment complex with a secure delivery hub and people on site at my leasing office. The package was not here. I didn't mind. Things happen. So I called Bath & Body works and they sent out a replacement shipment. I received that today. Very nice except they canceled the Sweet Pea Body gel which was part of my mother's Christmas gift. I was told that part of my order would not be available for the holidays. I understand but why the cancellation of this one item? I paid for it and I went online and found that it is still available so no reason for the cancelation. So now my mom will get the lotion and the spray but no bath gel. At least for Christmas. I'm very disappointed and will be hesitant to order online from them again around the holidays.

Customer service is fantastic but the way they package orders is shocking. The ammount of money that it costs for their products and the fact that you have to pay for shipping you would expect them to be securely packaged. I am based in the UK and import their products. I can always guarantee that my US forwarding centre send me an email saying items are damaged. Sometimes it doesn't even get that far and UPS or FedEx send me an email to say they're returning it due to damage. It causes a lot of hassle for me to rearrange booked shipments to the UK from the USA. The company are great at replacing items, but if they packaged them a little better in the first place they would probably save a lot of money!

Just came from Heartland store....excellent candles hands down. Unfortunately, shopping at that store is so frustrating. The moment you walk in, you are bombarded with questions of what you are looking for. What do they think we are looking for? They all give you their name so when you go to the cash they want you to remember who helped me. How about I just helped myself. It is a store where I am fully capable of entering and shopping for myself. If I have any questions, I will ask. It is extremely annoying especially trying to remember names. The cashier was literally asking me to describe the sales associate. Please focus on having more staff at the cash registers and less staff waiting to pounce on you upon entry. I would also appreciate seeing the prices as they are entered at the cash register as I have found errors previously.

I had the most embarrassing moment at the Bath and Body Works in Haywood Mall!! Wanting to take advantage of the 3.95 sale items, utilize my coupon (10.00 off for spending 30.00) and the new point system. Once I was rang up and my items totaled, I showed the associate my phone to receive points and apply the discount only to find out that the can’t apply the discount because the store was not set up to use the app. Corporate why would you send out an app to your consumers knowing that it is not readily available in all stores. I asked the manager (Shanitra) to make an override and apply my discount for her to bluntly state “ no ma’am” I will not have my name next to that discount because I could get fired! Are you seriously firing managers for trying to help YOUR consumers that have a legit coupon???!!!! Such a disgrace!
