Never order online. I ordered nine 3-wick candles for Christmas presents. I got a box of scented broken glass. There was absolutely ZERO packing material in the box so the candles just crashed around in the big box and fell apart. The stupidest most infuriating package I have ever received. After some hassle, I finally got a refund. I wish I could post the pictures here, because it’s truly unbelievable. NEVER AGAIN will I do business online with this shameful company.

BUYER BEWARE!!! Ordered 10 candles online for their big candle sale. 6 of them were severely damaged. Packing was terrible!! There was broken glass everywhere. 2 of them had been lit before. Wicks were broken off. Lids weren’t on half of them. It took 2 1/2 weeks to ship. When I went to the store to exchange, 5 of the 6 they didn’t have. The lady said this happens all the time with their online orders. I will NEVER order from them again!

The service here is really horrible. I placed a large order Dec 2 I got a shipment it had 2 candles in it so I waited and got nothing else I contact customer service and they tell me oh they are out of stock I just issued refund.. like what! This morning you had another email advertisement in my email for my same items and when I go on line you are still selling them so how is it my order is out of stock. This is the second time they have done this to me and it makes no sense. I do t get how you can cancel someone’s order stating out of stock yet still be swilling it online.. also they never notify you of any of this you have to go digging before they say anything. The service is just ridiculous

Been shopping with B & BW since the 90s, this is the worst I've ever seen it. Lost 2 1⁄2 hours of my life today, trying to order 5 single wick candles. Tried to order candles 1st on their website, to be picked up at the nearest store using "Paypal Pay Later". Website charged my PayPal account twice without completing the order, then stated "website having issues please try again later". Had to call Paypal to cancel payments and request refund. #2 - Called to try to place order with the a representative in India call center. What a joke, B&BW are these really the people you want representing you to your customers in the United States? Representative 1st said she could see the items in my cart, then said she couldn't see them, the cart was clear. This is when I lost my patience and let her know as much. Asked her if she was a human or an AI robot, she wouldn't answer, unsure if she hung up, I then hung up. #3 - Called back a 2nd time, representative then stated 1 of my items that was available at my nearby store was no longer available. #4 - Got into my car, after it had been raining all day, went to my nearest store and purchased the candles. This store didn't have one of the scents I wanted, called another store, will pick-up 1 candle at another store tomorrow. OMG, if these candles were for me, I would have given up. Bath & Body Works doesn't have their act together after all of these years "...and for that I'm out". By the way your call centers in India S_ _K, shame on you!!!

Invited to candle day , joined online que, placed order on 12/1/23 with 15 Christmas candles.received email stating would arrive 12-6-12/13 and a tracking number would follow. No tracking number I called 3 times asking - kept getting lied to - yes it’s coming don’t worry Yesterday a supervisor admitted no product - can’t say when will be shipped very likely after Christmas Can’t expedite order- can’t re order same items as likely NOT Availabke. Not able to give me wsu yo go to store snd puck 15 candles at sale price. Really no help at all I cancelled order. Honesty is best - they had 2 other chances to say running late. Don’t offer up to 24 candies if you don’t have product and way to ship it

I have been a Bath & Body Works customer for 25 years but Candle Day 2023 was the last straw. I ordered 6 candles on 12/1 and received an e-mail stating that they had been shipped but I noted that the package remained "awaiting carrier pickup" indefinitely. Contacted company on 12/13 to be told that my order was lost and they could only send 2 of the 6 candles as the others were now out of stock. Went the online chat route and Sharon - bless her heart - disconnected me when I insisted that the company honor my order. Called the 1-800 number and arrived (I assume) in an Indian call center where the rep couldn't help fulfill my order but he did promise me a $30 e-gift card, 2 of the 6 original candles and a refund. I should probably have quit while I was ahead but I'm a glutton for punishment so I asked to speak to a supervisor who did check inventory in a local store near me but could only see two of the four out of stock candles in inventory, so I went with a refund on 4 candles and delivery on the two they did have. The supervisor - clearly trying to ingratiate himself with the cranky customer - then rescinded the $30 e-gift card! Facebook complaint went the same way. The company just does not seem to care about retaining its long term customers. 12/28/2023 Update: It took a Better Business Bureau complaint to elicit a satisfactory response from Bath & Body Works and in fairness to the company the $45 e-gift card that they provided was suffcient to retain my future custom. I have always liked this company. It's just a shame that some of its internal processes are not really up to snuff.

I have had the worst experience ever with BBW. I ordered 13 candles for candle day sale at $9.95. 1 week later I got an email that my order was updated and turns out of my 13 candles ordered only 3 will be arriving. I called the corporate office and they advised they could not see the reason my ordered was cancelled but could only apologize. I asked if they could send me a coupon to go nd get more candles for the same price since I very well would have had more success going to the store vs. ordering online. BBW led me to believe that being a member included an exclusive perk like ordering early but more than half my order will not be sent and no one can explain why. To add insult to injury the call disconnected twice while i was speaking to a rep. Thi place is horrible. I would think since the name is so big they would have better customer service and recovery methods for customers. This will be my last package ordered online and after my horrible experience with customer service department, I will not be patronizing this brand anymore. There are so many other local candle companies with better service who appreciate their customers. This brand has gotten so big they seem to no longer care about the people who fall through the cracks. Order# 00474206522987

I have bought Bath and body works products for many years but I will not be buying it anymore. They are just like all the other companies trying to make more money and give less of the product. they have watered down the sweet pea body mist so much it smells like alcohol and it fades away within minutes and you can't smell it anymore after about 30 minutes. I also bought the you're the one body mist and they have changed the formula and it smells different and it fades away minutes after you put it on. I used to wear their body mist and it would stay on almost all day but now it's fades away. They have lost a long time customer and my daughter is another long time customer that spends a lot of money with them but we are both done. Shame on you Bath and body works for charging as much money as you do for your products and watering it down and we get less quality products.
