I've been using this company for well over 30 years. I look forward to the semi annual sale, so I can stock up on my favorites. I've tried placing my order twice with them in the last two days and they keep cancelling my order due to "suspicious" activity. I tried my credit card and PayPal both with the same response. I am so sad that after DECADES of using this product, I am now forced to find something else I love as much. Do better BBW. I know you have records of the amount of money I've spent over the years. I've been a loyal and frequent buyer, that ends today. Judging by the reviews left here and your poor score, things don't appear to be going well for you.

Being married for over 37 years I’ve been buying my wife gift certificates which are now called gift cards three to four times a year for several years for her birthday, anniversary, Christmas, etc. from Bath & Body Works, but after reading an article this morning where a store manager was fired for failing to address a female employee as a male I have decided to no longer do business with this company. Thought I would post this comment so that other viewers may do the same.

Bath & Body Works needs a complete system overhaul. If one warehouse doesn’t have the product in your order, the warehouse just cancels the item instead of shipping it from the warehouse that has the item. This is extremely poor customer service and a sign of really bad systems for ordering, warehousing and shipping. Stop raising your prices because of company inefficiency. On top of just cancelling items, there is absolutely no way to provide feedback because they want to “talk” to you. So, let’s wait for a customer representative for 20 minutes just to be told your item really is in stock but they were too antiquated or lazy to ship it from a different warehouse. But wait, I’ll place a new order for you and waive the shipping costs to resolve the fact that we can’t manage to ship it from your original order. The company is inefficient, prices are too high, their customer service practices are angering their customers. I will be rethinking future purchases and going with other alternatives. Enough is enough.

Disappointed with Return Policy, I’m very disappointed with Bath & Body Works. I recently bought a set of products, and after a week decided to return it because I no longer needed it. When I went back to the store, they told me that without a receipt, they could only refund me the lowest sale price, even though the set was currently selling for the same regular price I paid. I explained this to the manager and asked if I could at least get store credit for the current price, but she refused and said she couldn’t do anything. I ended up leaving with my items, feeling frustrated and angry. I’ve always loved shopping at Bath & Body Works, but this experience made me feel like my business doesn’t matter. I understand policies exist, but there should be some flexibility, especially when the item’s price hasn’t changed. I expected better customer service and will definitely think twice before shopping here again.

On 6/30/2025 I bought approximately $85 worth of Wallpaper air fresheners when they were on semi annual sale. When I received them today, two were broken and I could smell the scent as soon as I opened the front door. The box had leaked air fresheners in it and there was absolutely no protective bubble wrap around these glass bottles. I tried to contact them. Nobody answered the toll free numbers they list on their web page. I gave up after being on hold for 33 minutes. They have this stupid AI agent to report missing or damaged items. It is anything but AI. It could not find my order number and kept telling me to copy it from the confirmation email I should have received when I placed the order. In fact, that was exactly what I was doing. So that did not go anywhere. I gave up. I will NEVER buy anything from them again.

I AM FURIOUS! I went to BBW yesterday to redeem 2 rewards & they tell me we can only get sprays & lotions. No plugins, candles, hand sanitizer holders…NOTHING! That’s not right or acceptable! We have to spend $100 to get a measly & $18.95 reward & BBW wants to dictate what we get! I promise I WILL NOT spend another $ until this changes & I have spent $$$$$$$ in the past! Change it back BBW or I see your revenue going way down because I’m not the only one very angry! Incidentally, your product quality has gone way down too on the plug-ins. After a short time of usage they start bleeding the liquid down the outside of the plug-in. DO BETTER BBW!

Made a purchase online during their Semi Annual Sales. Had 37 items in the order. Received 9 but the remaining 28 items were in a shipment they said were damaged and sent back to them. Spent over an hour on the 2 calls where they assured me I would get those items, even if they were not on sale anymore. Then 2 weeks later, still no packages, when I called again and spent another 45 minute son the line I was told they cannot send them as they no longer had those items. Most frustrating shopping experience. Will not even try to order again. Customer service reps I spoke to during my first 2 calls clearly had no clue what they were doing.

Now you can't use your rewards to purchase wallflower plugs. I have been a customer for a number of years, but this really ticks me off. I'm going to look for a different provider of bath and body products.
