Haven't been in a Bath and Body for a while. I do most of my shopping online as is the case here. Ordered some candles 3 days ago. Got an email today essentially telling me not to worry they are getting to the order. Estimated delivery is too late for what I need. YOU CANNOT CANCEL AN ORDER. IT HAS TO BE CANCELLED WITHIN 15 MINUTES OF ORDERING. What???????????????? I would have to return it to the store or by mail, defeating the whole reason as to why I ordered online as I just had knee replacement surgery. Never again.

Dear Bath & Body Works Customer Service, I am writing to formally document my extremely disappointing experience at Store #81507 on December 7, 2025. I visited the store to make purchases using two gift cards I received as birthday gifts. Unfortunately, what should have been a simple transaction turned into a frustrating ordeal lasting over an hour. Issues Encountered: 1. Extended Wait Time: The sales associate assisting me experienced difficulties processing my gift cards. Despite requesting help multiple times, I waited over 30 minutes while approximately six other staff members were nearby but did not provide assistance. 2. Lack of Managerial Support: When Manager Paige Cole eventually came to assist, she did not acknowledge the extended wait or apologize for the inconvenience. Her assistance was minimal before she left to attend to other matters. 3. Missing Gift Card Balance: One of my $50 gift cards mysteriously showed a zero balance while I was standing at checkout, despite having the full amount moments before. Customer service later confirmed there was a store computer issue that likely caused this problem. 4. Unprofessional Manager Response: When I expressed concern about the situation and suggested better support for staff members, Ms. Cole became defensive and stated she "didn't like the way I had talked to her." During this time, she appeared more focused on checking employees' belongings as they left for the day than resolving my issue or apologizing for the problems. As someone who works with individuals with special needs, I recognize that the sales associate was doing his best and needed additional support from his team. My concern is with the lack of adequate assistance provided and the manager's dismissive and unprofessional attitude toward a customer who had already waited extensively. I would appreciate: *Confirmation that my gift card balance issue has been fully resolved *An explanation of what happened with my gift card *Acknowledgment of this complaint and assurance that customer service standards will be addressed at this location Thank you for your attention to this matter. If I could give a 0 star I would! Worst website ever! Took forever to pay through PayPal had to cancel and reorder due to long wait! Then only to have bbw cancel oone of the two items because? Then recieve email saying my order is ready only to click on order and find ive been blocked!!!!! What is wrong with you bath &body works! Get your act together

I ordered candles. One came broken, another had chewed gum sitting on it. I ordered several candles, but they only offered me a refund for those two, even though the others were most likely contaminated by the saliva from the gum, as well. They said if I want a full refund I have to take the candles to a store, which means touching the contamination. Maybe I'm a germaphobe but I think that's disgusting.

I bought soap bottles to be able to purchase a gift bag for my friend for Xmas and was waiting forever to receive it but did not arrive so I contact service customer and they were like oh it looks like it got cancelled… ummmm it’s like WHY didn’t anyone contact me! Now I have to find time to go shopping again and go return the soaps because they can’t cancel my other items. This should not happen it is like a fraud! I am so disappointed never shop online at this shop!

Do not order anything online on this shop ever again! They won't arrive like they should!

I was about to place an order for over $200.00 during their “candle event”. You can’t do pick up in store until the last day of the event. At that time, half of the items aren’t available for store pick up. I refuse to pay for shipping when purchasing over $200.00 in merchandise. Their reasoning is that you are “saving” so much on the candles. Well, I stumbled upon Yankee Candle & Goose Creek Candle Events. They have a better variety of scents, lower prices, and free shipping! Score! I won’t be going back to Bath & Body Works. Good call Bath & Body. It makes great business sense to lose a $200.00 sale over a $6.99 shipping charge.

I told the lady that the bag was going to rip because she filled it too full and she said no the bags are strong and it would hold and guess what it riped. So I had to go to JCPenneys and buy stronger bags.
