Price of candles have gone up and quality, down. The scent is not as strong as it used to be. Shipping is very rarely free. Poor sales policy that does not take copies of papers coupons that can only be used once. Nonsense. They have to update some Policies to the 21st century.

I have been ordering for a long time, but lately they have seriously gone downhill. The last few orders have been broken or incomplete. They have buy 2 get 1, but they keep saying that the third one is not in stock. So no free one. I don't think I'm always buying the most popular scents. The shipping has gone up and there are not the amount of online coupons as there once were. Not sure what's going on, but it's happened way too many times. Customer service keeps promising things that never materialize. They will send a gift card, or I can place a new order and they will remove the shipping charge. They are not interested in solving issues and I just don’t know if it’s worth it anymore.

I order online and received 2 broken candle. They fix my order and sent me one back. I had to call them to find out they was out of stock of the other one. Not good with the online ordering.

I have been a store customer for many years and an online customer for a few. I consider the products I buy to be a bit of a splurge or personal treat. I could get the same quality of soaps and other products for a lot less elsewhere. I would shop at B&BW because when I washed my hands with their soap I loved the strength of their aromas. I recently bought some foaming hand soaps and one had a totally unfamiliar store name on the label. That wasn't a problem, just a little confusing. What was a problem is you can barely smell the Fresh Apple Tart foaming hand soap. I can get that quality at Walmart for 1/3 the price. Based on other reviews and this experience I will be shopping at other sites for less money for the same product quality available at Bath and Body Works.

In store shopping is great. Online shopping is a pain in the butt. Didn’t know an item was cancelled until my order shipped and I couldn’t replace it with anything else. It was a buy one get one free and I just wanted to exchange it, not even cancel my order completely. The person I talked with told me I couldn’t exchange it. Your online service skills are awful.

I love bath and body works, especially their candles and wallflowers. I always have at least 1 candle lit and 4 wallflowers around my house at any given time. Yet everytime I place an order for candles part of my order is always canceled because they claim they do not have the items in stock. Well this happened to me again for the umpteenth time today, yet on there website the candle says its in stock. Mind you I placed an order on the 14th and they didn't cancel the 2 candles they are claiming are not in stock until today which is the 21st. This is really ridiculous. I called customer service and asked to speak to a manager. The first time the girl hung up, after around 30 minutes. The second time a guy had me on hold for 25 minutes only to tell me that the managers are going home and he will put a request in to call me back tomorrow. A request to call me back? I am so mad. I easily spend $5000 a year at bath and body works, probably way more and this is the way you treat a good customer? Shame on bath and body. Honestly, I feel like I am just going to stop shopping at bath and body works all together after my past negative experiences.

This review is based solely on shipping and not the actual products themselves. The shipping Witt this company is awful. It’s expensive, in my opinion, and SLOW. Takes at least a week or more to receive your items. You can expedite your shipping for an even heftier shipping price, but then still don’t get it for 3 days. I mean come on, this company needs to up their shipping game to compete with other quicker and cheaper companies out there.
