Bath & Body WorksReviews of bathandbodyworks.com

This company's motto should be Bath & Body Works, We Love to Rip You off. I am so disappointed in the service I receive from this company. They offer you these great deals but then when you get the order, it is never correct and guess what you don't get the deal. Don't buy from them at all. Support your local stores and hopefully this terrible company will go out of business.

I am incredibly disappointed in the package I received from Bath & Body Works yesterday. When I ordered back a few months ago, everything was packed neatly with a lot of care. Yesterday, the box was too big for the order. Two of the candles had fallen out of their boxes (luckily, they didn't break) and the soaps were just thrown in haphazardly. I will not be ordering online again. Very disappointing!

Made an error while ordering and ordered the wrong perfume. Attempted to cancel within 2 hours of the order being placed. They refused to cancel the order. so now I have to wait two weeks to refuse a product so that I can send it back. Ridiculous! Not customer friendly. You would think at a time when everyone's business is so important to them they would be a little more mindful of customer service.

Bath and Body Works has changed their primary shipping to using Pitney Bowes who then hands it off to USPS at the destination location for final delivery. In the past, they used FedEx or UPS for deliveries and most of us experienced reasonable delivery times in the Central US from either Louisville or Atlanta. That is a thing of the past and they are not out to two weeks and beyond. I submitted a larger order on 11/16 and received their Navar tracking that it was shipped from Atlanta on 11/18. Atlanta is a 10 hour drive from where I live. Today is 11/30 and USPS and Navar both show no handoff to USPS. My attempts to contact Bath and Body Works have earned me only a note telling me to contact them if I do not receive it by 12/05 which would be 19 days for a 10 hour drive time. I wrote them back telling them I was going to refuse delivery and I would be demanding a full refund. I also asked them to justify the ridiculous delivery process and they did not have the decency to respond. Two days ago, I drove 30 miles to the closest retail store and fought the mob to by $200 worth of product because they can't deliver within a decent time frame. Never again!

I have been trying for hours to place an order for the $5.95 sale. Very upsetting, because it ends today. I contacted customer service and was told, "it's because of high volume, keep trying". The amount of time I've spent...For me the whole point in shopping online(I hate to shop) is for conserving time. Thanks B&BW, for the advice to waste more of my holiday weekend, for something that should have taken five minutes.

I ordered from B&BW months ago and received my order in less than a week. It was delivered by fedex. I ordered again 2 weeks ago and have had no shipment updates whatsoever other than it going back and forth between two states that are no where near where I live. Looks like B&BW has partnered with a company called Pitney bowes newgistics. Worst mistake they could’ve made. One day it said my package was delivered then the next day shows it was never shipped. Said it would be here on the 25th, it’s now the 28th and my package is still sitting in Georgia. Some scents I received last time had a slightly sour smell to it. I only ordered again for Christmas gifts during the $5.95 sale. I will never give this company my money again, I usually spend around $500 a year at B&BW. Sad to see a company I respected turn into a sham. I also was not fond of the Black Friday deals. The $30 gift with any $30 purchase was not included with the buy 3 get 3 free sale. That sale still priced items around or over $8 when I bought the same products for $5.95 two weeks before.

I placed my order online on 11/1/2020. The tracking said it should arrive between 11/5 & 11/12. On 11/22 I called because I hadn't received my order. The person I spoke with asked me to call back after Friday - to give it just a little more time. As if 10 days wasn't enough. So I called back today (Saturday) and they are totally out of the items that I ordered - Why would you have someone wait and call back after black Friday? They told me the would substitute other fragrances. I don't want other fragrances. I ordered on 11/1 to make sure I would have what I needed in time for Christmas. Very disappointed in this company! They advised me I could continue to watch the site and if my scents came back in I could reorder.

Worst customer service ever! And will charge you, give you shipping info, only to tell you 3+ weeks later when you call to see where your items are that it wasn’t shipped cause they didn’t have the item. Apparently they have no manager or no other representatives to speak to. Never again, lesson learned for the second time.
