FRAUDULENT CANDLE SALE!!!! I placed my order at 7:04 am during the 50% off 2020 Sale. I purchased 16 candles. I received an email stating that 14 of my candles were out of stock which was not indicated when I checked out. I don't understand why my candles were out of stock because I ordered an hour after the sale started. Calling customer service was a nightmare, they couldn't locate my order and kept giving me information from old orders. So, when I went to their website a few days after sale, to my surprise, two of my candles were in stock. I spoke to a supervisor to try an get two of my candles filled. She said, she could not sale them to me for $9.95. but offered 20% off and free shipping. So that means I would be paying $20 for each candle instead of $9.95. Also, the supervisor told me my order was placed around 1pm, once again incorrect data information. I read the 7:08 am email to her from BBW regarding my order which was not in there system at all! I am very disappointed with this company and will try to find another store, perhaps Goose Creek to purchase my candles from. I consider this a fraudulent sale because I ordered one hour after the sale began and there was no indication that the 16 candles were out of stock when I checked out. They should have never ran a sale that they could not fulfill as least their early a.m. orders. Some of these candles were Christmas gifts too!! Do not order from this company, especially Christmas gifts you will be disappointed!!!

Ordered on candle day, 3 days ago, online. Got an email today saying they cancelled half my order. I called them saying I wanted the entire order cancelled and a refund, the woman refused and said I had to take what they send to a store for a refund. She never asked my name or order number or she would have seen nothing even shipped yet. Also - I don't live near a store! I asked to speak to a supervisor and she hung up on me! Will NEVER use bath and body works again. Ever, ever. There are so many wonderful businesses out there, and during hard times if someone chooses you, you shouldn't blow it. Should have offered a delayed delivery. And hire some employees with tact. Shame on bath and body works. Will be disputing with my bank.

I will NEVER ORDER again. Doubled my order so therefore they double the amount they took from my bank acct. Called on Friday, the day thus happened and they told me they canceled the second order. Today both orders came out of my bank acct, not pending, actually came out of my balance. Then I get an email that said some candles were not available so I called. Over 100 dollars out of my acct. No order has been shipped and now they say the other order wasn't cancelled. Done!!

I wrote 2 reviews on their site and they refused to publish. They had 28 reviews for cinnamon roll foaming hand soap and miraculously after I submitted my review they had 78 the next day 5 star reviews that sounded like a marketer wrote them. Here is what I wrote. Since you added an "s" to the end of your cinnamon roll foaming hand wash and changed the image, you watered it down and it has no smell now. Waste of money

I ordered candles on their 1 day sale. I didn’t receive an email confirmation so I called and due to high call volume, I left a call back number. No one returned my call, so I emailed and no one returned my email. Called again and they admit their website had issues and they saw my order and offered 20% off - I said I want the sale price I ordered with and they said they would connect me to a supervisor and then hung up on me. They don’t honor their pricing even after admitting it was their website having issues and they don’t return emails or calls. I used to love bath and body works but now will not ever purchase from them - horrible customer care and terrible company that is dishonest!

A week after ordering and calling and they still have not sent out my order

I ordered on a day that a free gift was being offered if you spent $30.00 or more. I entered the code "PRESENT", saw "you got it" directly under the promo box but I did NOT receive the promo gift, it was a limited Christmas box. When my order confirmation was sent there was no mention of the gift so I contacted Customer Service and they told me I needed to add the gift box to my cart beforehand. I did not get an error code after entering "PRESENT" so its very frustrating that online instructions were lacking.

I received a notification from my bank that there was a fraudulent charge to B & B for 105.57. I called them 1 1/2 hrs later to explain to them someone placed an order with my debit card. After a 15 minute phone call I was informed by the sales rep that the ordered had been cancelled and I would not be charged. Next morning I received an email stating that my order was being processed. I contacted B & B again and after 40 minute phone call was informed card wouldn’t be charged that my order was flagged as fraudulent and that everything was taken care of. 1 1/2 hrs later I received another email stating order was shipped! I am beyond upset with B & B . I was told with the 3rd rep that I had to dispute this with my bank. This order should never have been processed or shipped. I notified them in plenty of time that this was a fraudulent order. I will never go back into another B & B store or order from them again. All they care about is that they get their money. I’m beyond disappointed.
