Batelle Babies should be the standard in sleep training
At 4 months, my daughter started occasionally sleeping through the night but we could find no consistency with this. The status quo was erratic and stressful daytime naps, endless bouncing on the yoga ball, 5 - 10 night wakings starting 45 mins after bedtime, nursing back to sleep every time, and a very stressed out, touched out, sleep deprived mom. I read all the sleep expert blogs and articles, watched all the videos and nothing helped. Cry-it-out was struck from the options after one horrible 45-min attempt. Too harsh, too painful. I finally decided I needed to hire a sleep consultant. Enter the Batelle Babies program. So much more than "a sleep consultant". I spoke to someone the same day who understood what I was going through and answered all my questions about the service. Within days, I was enrolled in the classes and starting to lay strong foundations for my daughter's sleep. I started to see results with the first step. She was no longer fighting sleep at nap time and settled into a more predictable rhythm. Very encouraging. When we started implementing the full method (which was an intense experience for the first 3 nights), everything changed. Just one month later, my 5 month old goes to sleep in her crib with no bouncing, no nursing, and usually no crying, and she stays there all night except for her scheduled feeds. The yoga ball is back to being workout equipment and not a baby sleep aid. It's been a complete transformation. What I loved most about Batelle Babies is the ongoing 1-on-1 support available as needed via text chat or zoom calls. I always felt I was in good hands with the BB team. This should be the new standard in sleep training.
