Basic Talk First Year Cost $119.00 Magic Jack First Year Cost: $89.85 Difference = $29.15 Basic Talk Second Year Cost $119.00 Magic Jack Second Year Cost: $35.00 Difference = $84.00 Monthly cost: Basic Talk = $9.99 (Plus tax and fees and if it stays at this rate) Magic Jack = $1.67 (if it could be billed monthly which it can't) So Basic Talk customers are you stupid or just really bad at math?

I have tried to change the billing date multiple times. They will not do this until you threaten to cancel services. Then they claim to give you an account credit, which latter turns out you must pay back. The bill makes no sense as your only getting 10 days of service before being charged again. BBB here I come!

I wish I could give BasicTalk zero (0) stars. The reasons for my poor opinion of BasicTalk are: 1. BasicTalk stated one price for their monthly service and charge more than 50% more for the service. 2.Customer service is lacking I asked a question about voicemail outgoing messgae and reply had nothing to do with the question. 3. BasicTalk sent me an email on 6/3/2014 thanking me for choosing them. As if I just became their customer. Stupid stupid stupid. BasicTalk do everyone a favor and go out of business.

I phoned Basic Talk, emailed and still I have this loud clicking noise when I am on the phone. The clicking is so loud that I am often asked, "what is that?" I have phoned customer service and have been told that there is no one that I can speak to in technical support. I have emailed technical support and followed their basic suggestions. I have sent additional emails and not gotten a reply. WHAT A JOKE THIS BASIC TALK TURNED OUT TO BE!!!!!!!
