It was great until it went bad. I banked with them for three years, no problem, suddenly they started rearranging my payments and on two occasions left me -900 they are the worst and dishonest. Do not bank here.

I love bank of the west. I’ve had my account with them for over a decade- their customer reps on the phone could be a lot better but the bankers I. The branch have always been great. I moved cross country recently and still won’t close that account- they beat out any large bank in my book.

They are the worst crooks ever. I started with them when they were commercial federal and we're bought by Bank of the West. Aholes shut your account down if you have a business and have money deposited into your account and try charging you a $100.00 to turn the account back on! F them! Caught them lying on their statements stealing money too. Even made a branch manager loose her job over it. And tired of it taking over a month to get a new debit card that only lasts 30 days.

I get a debit card replacement and email for the PIN number. I'm told it will be delivered in 5 to 10 days. 2 weeks have passed and no PIN number. I call and informed it was never sent. Rep on the phone stated they would RUSH it and send me the tracking number then. 3 days have passed and no tracking number. They told me to go to the local branch.... but they are closed due to the pandemic. I've been lied to in the online banking emails, they've lied to me in the comment section of their FB page and on the phone. Why can' they just tell me the truth whatever that is. The debit card is worthless without the PIN and I can not write checks due to arthritis and essential tremors in my hands.

I also do not see why people use that bank however it's very popular in the California area for example. They have very high fees and very slow quality of service if you need something soon for example. Thanks for letting me know all that stuff.

We have been banking with BOW since 2011. They use to be great, but in the last 2 years, its been horrible !! I would definitely not recommend any BOW. Their inefficient, never have enough tellers in the, countless issues with their debit cards, loan officers (Home Loans) do not know what their doing, giving miss information, not calling back etc. BEWARE it's a nightmare 99% of the time.

I really do not recommend this bank. Their in branch customer service is horrible, wire fees are atrocious ($40), the online platform is misleading, and the credit card offering doesn't even compare to other banks. Please, stay away.

Never use this bank ，I opened an account online this month last month. On April 30th, I deposited my check. On May 2nd, I found that the check showed hold. Their customer service told me that the check for the new account would take 10 working days to show money. In your account. I have not seen this situation in any bank account.
