absolutely horrible! they sent me a sick Red Eyed Croc Skink! he was fine the first day I got him and died the day after! Never going to buy from them ever again. I'm STILL waiting on an email from them about the 7-day guarantee. I want my money back!

hi my name is ash, i got a giant day gecko that is high red. she was in a box for 36 hours! due to fedex plane being down. i was scared. but I got her and she is fat and healthy. i will be buying from them later in life!

We ordered a blue bar bearded dragon from here, he arrives the next day as promised! Super healthy, alert and perfect!! He ate right away! He had to have been on a good diet before we got him because he was nice and plump!! Cannot wait to order our next one

WORST COMPANY EVER!!!!!! I bought a snake on this website and received it the next day- only it had mites and ticks all over it. The snake was so underweight that the skeleton was practically bulging past its skin. The mouth was infected and the snake died three days later. These Loony toons are not a good business and if it was possible to get them a negative number start or a zero I would . They are terrible people treating these animals terribly and nothing more than exploiting animals to make a fast buck and then blame the VICTIMS for their incompetance and negligence. DO NOT go here unless you are trying to buy SICK AND ABUSED REPTILES.

This was my first experience in odering an aquatic creature by mail. Backwater Reptile maintained quick and helpful communication throughout the transaction. My axolotl was packed very carefully and arrived safely ahead of schedule. They even made sure to check the weather in my area to optimize the best possible day for shipping. I can't begin to thank them enough for the great service and the kindness they've showed me they really do go above and beyond for their customers. With it being my first time ordering from backwater reptiles I didn't really know what to expect it's hard to trust certain places that sell pets but they are a place you can trust I just recently ordered a Brazilian striped knee tarantula from them and when I had a question about my order They responded back with a very helpful and friendly email. And I didn't have any issues with my order the tarantula was packed nicely for her trip she wasn't over crowded in her container she had adequate room with out the fear of being jolted around during shipping. I was a bit concerned about her arrival because the postal service was a little slow with getting her here lol and I was a little worried she might be over stressed from the big move and being in the box most of the day but they assured me that it'll take time for her to adjust to her surroundings and after being shipped from place to place she needed safe quiet time to destress which I understand completely. I can honestly say my experience with backwater reptiles was greatly appreciated and I highly recommend them to anyone looking for spiders, snakes, lizards, ECT they are the best Thank You so much can't wait to order from you again 💕
