It needs more support in the back.

I have a previous version of this product-it has a harder shell is and overall smalle-that I much prefer. I was hoping to get a second one of the same original product to use in our second car. However, the new "Back Joy" doesn't give me the support I wanted and I'm disappointed. I suppose that it is a good product for some people-but not for me.

The Back Joy is surprisingly comfortable and my back is much straighter. My shoulders still slump though, and I recognize that this is a problem the Back Joy isn't supposed to address. I get fewer backaches now that I'm sitting straighter.

The BackJoy was very well constructed and I am sure it helps a lot of people, but I didn't make any difference for my lower back and so I ended up returning it. Customer service could not have been more helpful.

I love Backjoy seats for our sports car, ordered lumbar support thought it would compliment seat but does not work well on bucket seat. Will keep as too much hassle to return but ended up taking straps off and putting between seat back and front portion, hope it helps but very disappointed given the success with posture seat. May work okay on regular seats but not bucket leather ones and feel straps could rub leather. I was somewhat disappointed with delivery time it took almost two weeks from order dat and it seemed like a convoluted mail trip. In the past items I have ordered from the company have arrived a lot faster, not sure why. I did not email them. Also I feel they could have included more instructions on how to install in a car.

I have purchased a variety of Back Joy products and have found them to be well constructed and serviceable. With my most recent purchase, an online discount was offered to me through email. The discount was valid for "one day" and for "entire purchase." I chose to make my purchase in 2 orders as I intended them for different mailing destinations. The online site rejected the discount for the 2nd order so I called customer service and was told I had already used the discount. I argued that the discount was still good as the day hadn't expired and the email said "entire purchase" not "one order." Customer service rejected the discount for the second order as well.

It's not good with soft cushioned chairs. Okay with leather car seats. The material could have been less flexible in my view.

I ordered it for use in my car. I was disappointed it did not give my middle back more support. I like to sit up straight when I drive, the BackJoy did not help. Perhaps you have a model that would accomplish this. Charlane Macon
