Avoid Babylist for Breast Pump Orders: Slow and Frustrating Process
Avoid getting your pump through Babylist! This is my third pregnancy, and I’ve previously gotten pumps through Aeroflow and 1 Natural Way. This time, only Babylist had the pump I wanted, so I had no choice but to order from them. The entire process was incredibly frustrating. When I placed my order, they asked for my OB’s information and claimed they would handle getting the prescription. However, that wasn’t true. After placing the order, they emailed me and told me I needed to obtain the prescription myself. While it’s not a big deal to get it from my OB, why say they’d do it if they won’t? Then came the long wait for insurance validation. With 1 Natural Way and Aeroflow, it only took 1–2 days to validate my insurance, and I received my pump within about 10 days total. Babylist, on the other hand, took five days just to validate my insurance. Now, a week after validation, my pump still hasn’t shipped. They said once it ships, delivery will take another 5–10 business days. My due date is approaching, and I don’t think the pump will arrive in time. I’ll likely have to use my old one. If you’re considering ordering a pump through Babylist, be warned: they are incredibly slow and inefficient.
