I ordered a bouquet for delivery in Bethpage, they charged my card, and confirmed order for delivery same day. 50 minutes later, they emailed me that they refunded my order, no explanation. Called and they informed me that Bethpage is too far from Oyster Bay for them to deliver. Checked my credit card—there is a charge for the flowers, and the refund is not posted. Called them and the man who was “customer service” told me that the order was cancelled because it is 90 minutes from Oyster Bay to Bethpage (it is not) and “too bad.” He was rude and horrible. Do not suggest ordering from them.

UPDATE: I can confirm that I have now received a full refund. ______________________________________ At this point I believe I have been scammed I placed a next day delivery for flowers to be sent to my friend on her 40th birthday. Only to receive the below email a couple of hours later. And it has been 2 weeks still no refund. I have emailed them a couple of times as I live outside the US, but no reply. At this point I guess I have been scammed. I am writing to inform you that your order has been cancelled. Unfortunately, the florist in your area was unable to deliver your flowers. I am not sure why this is the case, but I will investigate and make sure that it does not happen again. In the meantime, I have issued a full refund to your credit card. The money should be reflected on your credit card statement within 2 business days, or sooner, depending on your bank's policies. I apologize for the inconvenience this has caused. My review is like so many of the others where the order was canceled and a refund would be issued. Same excuse... no one to deliver the flowers. I sent an email to the "Customer Happiness Manager" asking for clarification. I never received a reply. I've also yet to receive a refund! The first time I did not look at the reviews before ordering. Big mistake! It is so obvious this company is only interested in the money... not in customer satisfaction. I think the title of "Customer Happiness Manager" should be changed to "Customer Aggravation Manager." Beware... purchase at your own risk!

This is ridiculous I got the same message and did not get a refund to date. I have no number to contact them. They are theives....

I was planning a Celebration of Life event in SC; from OH. I googled “local florists in West Columbia, SC”. They popped up as #1 local florist. I should’ve dug deeper and read reviews first, but instead, I ordered nearly $500 of flowers for my Father-in-Laws event. My experience is the same as everyone else. Order immediately canceled. Promised a refund. Didn’t get it. I received the emails confirming cancellation, but when I tried to respond the email was kicked back. I tried the customer service number and the Verizon customer “isn’t taking calls at this time’. I contacted Amex, told them the story, and they refunded the money through the dispute department. It’s a shame that there are people out there scamming people who’ve just lost a loved one.

Updated:I did end up getting a refund. But only after they saw this review. I still wouldn't ever use this service ever again. I wish I had read reviews. Not sure how this business can keep scamming people and get away with it!! Same as others. You pay. They say flowers can't get delivered. You never get your $ back.

I ordered flowers from their website. They guarantee delivery anywhere, 100% refund for nondeliverables, etc. Later that day I received an email that they canceled my order without a reason being given. I emailed back and didn't get a reply, so I called. The phone call is the reason for my 1 star review. They tried to rush me off the phone without answering my questions 3 times. They just kept saying, "You'll get your money back, goodbye." I was actually still trying to make a purchase. Finally she says she's too busy and she hung up on me. I called and asked to speak with the customer service manager, Frank, who also didn't seem to care I'd been hung up on. He insinuated that was likely normal because they are busy. My recommendation is to make them less busy by not giving them any business. It's not worth it.
