There is no way to archive or download a property's records (rent payments, leases, etc) in order to stop being charged the monthly admin fees! The only way, according to the support rep, is to delete the property from the app & lose all records! Or pay Avail their monthly fees to keep the unit active. What rent collection software company would ever set up software without including a way to download the data for that property before deleting it? I should have just signed up to free version from beginning. If only landlords knew that before signing up for the premium paid plan. I would not recommend them to anyone for this reason.

Hi there. We hear you and are actively exploring options for landlords to archive their inactive properties so they're not billed for them while retaining access to old data. Unfortunately, this is not an option at the moment. Since the unit deletion process removes all data, including payments and leases from reports, we recommend against deleting unit information unless absolutely necessary, since it can't be recovered. If you'd rather remove the property, I encourage you to download the most important information, such as any leases and the Payments Received report. You can click the 'More Button' on the leases page to download the lease, and you can download payment records from the Reports tab and/or Accounting tab. Once done, go ahead and follow the steps to delete a property. I hope this is helpful even though your desired outcome is not currently possible. Thanks for using Avail. Please let me know if I can assist with any other questions.
