Tried to purchase a Lexus from the Volvo dealership in San Jose. Where do I start. First they wanted to charge me $750.00 to ship it to Reno Nevada, which I accepted because I didn't want to make the horrible trip to the Bat Area. It took six tries to get a final price. They wanted to charge me tax on the shipping. So when we finally got all that worked out, they sent the paperwork to the Mercedes dealer here in Reno. We were told by the salesman at Volvo the 5 day money back guarantee was valid. We went to sign the papers and they informed us the the 5 day money back guarantee does not work if you send the car out of state. So they want you to pay $40,000 for a car you haven't seen, and if there's something wrong with the car, your stuck with it. They sell cars all over the United States and offer shipping, but nowhere do they state the warranty is invalid if shipped out of state. Worst car buying experience of my life. Stay away from them.

So we went to AutoNation’s service center located in the Ashburn Virginia area on June 17th, trying to replace a 2 1/2 year old battery for 2016 Honda accord; mind you we’ve already had a defective battery when we purchased the brand new Honda accord. These people have no customer service training. The gentleman told that batteries on these cars need to be replaced every 2 ½ to 3 years... I was shocked when I heard this statistics. If buyers knew about this fact I am sure they’ll never buy a Honda. Personally, I’ve never replaced a battery less then 4 years old in my own cars. Anyway, they wanted to charge us $220 for a battery!!! I tried calling the service manager twice he never bothered to return my call. What an awesome service? Needless to say, I will never go & or purchase anything from that place and I’ll tell all my family & friends to stay away from that place. Not sure how they’re still in business… So, I went to Costco & bought a battery for $75 and replaced it myself. It took me 15 minutes!!!

Terrible customer service, specially automation Honda Miami lakes, go somewhere else!!! Run!!!! They’ll try to rip you off in any possible way!!! From sellers to service Terrible management, was jus an awful experience every time. Gladly sold my Honda and got a new vehicle with rick case

I bought a Pre-certified car tho a BMW dealership in Valencia, CA. thinking things would be done right. The work that was done by Autonation mechanic was real bad before i bought it from the BMW dealer, their mechanic broken off a bolt in the head of the motor on a repair that they did, was left on it causing a brake down on the highway a month later. the mechanic know what he did,how could he not know, but did not fix his damage that the person knew then. Work was not done to bmw standards. A BMW factory rep was called into so see the damage, the rep said sub standard work was done on it. i lived 100 miles away from dealer, i took my car to a local dealer to get fixed. it took them a week to get ok to my local dealer to fix their work. BMW should drop any connection with Autonation to keep BMW name good with their customers and their reputation with me and all of their customers, that depend on the good history on doing thing right

Unprofessional, dishonest staff members and the Auto Nation on Bell Road in Phoenix, AZ lacks leadership.

I bought a 2015 Grand Jeep Cherokee I haven’t had my truck for at least 6 months and I’ve had to put it in the shop several times it’s is currently in the shop now after not even having it back for 3 months and upon call auto nation to inquire about what can be done a sales man states “well that’s why you purchase extended warranty “ as if he knew the truck wasn’t good i dnt recommend any one purchase from them it’s all lies and run around this has been the worst experience of buying a car I’ve had. I only went to them because of what i was told but now i see it’s all lies ...

Not sure how they are in business.they cheat customers by saying one thing and changing it to other .....bait and switch company

David Workman was very rude, very defensive answers with NO explaination of anything except his extended warranty. I was buying my Grandson a car that his Father and Mother had chosen and checked out with Bailey Huggins the night before filling out part of the paperwork needed. I was only paying for the vehicle. If it had not been for the special circumstance and my Son being out of town I would have walked out but I did not want to disappoint my Grandson and as I stated my Son has already done some of the paperwork. David Workman is a very rude man and a poor representative of your company. Bailey Huggins related well to my Grandson and was pleasant enough but no knowledge of the finance part and when asked a question his reply was always that it was above his pay grade. Workman on the other hand was rude and short with no explanation. Not wanting to embarrass my Grandson I shut up and paid the bill. It was a bad experience. I will not return.
