“Extremely disappointed with…
“Extremely disappointed with AutoNation.” I purchased a 2023 Chevrolet Silverado 2500HD from AutoNation and unfortunately my experience after the sale has been extremely disappointing. This isn't just about a set of center caps or a spare tire. My concern is the overall condition of the vehicle, the accuracy of the certified 125 point inspection, and the way AutoNation handled my concerns after the sale. The truck was delivered with a spare tire that does not match the size of the tires and wheels currently on the truck. The center caps were also missing. I brought these issues to the dealership's attention and worked through dealership management before escalating the matter to AutoNation corporate customer relations. After all of that, AutoNation's position is that they will not provide the correct spare tire and will not provide the center caps. There are also multiple discrepancies on the certified 125 point inspection. Several items were marked as meets standard, even though the truck does not have the equipment or configuration. For example, clutch interlock on a truck without a clutch, sunroof convertible checks on a truck without one, and rear wiper checks on a truck without a rear wiper. I'm not asking them to repair every one of these items, but these things were represented as being inspected and meeting a standard on a certified inspection I relied upon when I purchased the truck. There is also a brake-life monitoring issue. The dealership says the brakes themselves are operating properly, but the vehicle is still displaying approximately3% brake life remaining. I asked that this monitoring issue be properly diagnosed and corrected, and that remains unresolved. AutoNation did offer to repair the windshield, provide a jack and lug nut set, and buff the truck. However, they are only willing to buff one area. My understanding is that the truck was supposed to be buffed, and there are still other areas that appear to have been missed. I'm not asking for repainting or touch-up work. I am asking that the buffing that was supposed to be performed be properly completed over the entire truck. I made every effort to resole these issues privately and professionally. After all of that, the final response was essentially, "this is what we're willing to do and nothing more." What makes this especially disappointing is that I have been a repeat AutoNation customer. In recent years, I purchased a 2018 Dodge Challenger, a 2013 Dodge Charger, a 2016 Chevrolet Corvette, and now this 2023 Silverado. After giving AutoNation that much business, I expected considerably better treatment when legitimate concerns arose with a vehicle I purchased from them. I am posting this review so potential customers can hear about my experience and make their own informed decision. I gave AutoNation multiple opportunities to resolve this privately. Unfortunately, I am leaving this experience extremely disappointed. Based on my experience, I would not recommend AutoNation to someone who expects the dealership to stand behind its certified inspection and address documented concerns after the sale. I sincerely wish this had ended differently.

Stay Away - Bait and Switch
I can see why AutoNation has such a poor rating. My experience was they gave me a price online and then offered a much lower price when I drove there to sell the car. The reason they gave had nothing to do with the condition of my car, which they were happy with, but instead they stated that they did not know why their system gave such a high price as they could not make the profit they needed to on the car. It was a bait and switch and a very negative experience. Stay away and try Carmax or Carvana instead - they cannot be worse than AutoNation.

Do not risk making a purchase from Autonation
I verified what floor mats needed to be ordered and even sent my VIN so Autonation could verify.
First, the mats cost $175 but the shipping was $178. The shipping on this item should have been $25 at the most.
Secondly, they sent the wrong mats. I have the quad cab but Autonation sent the rear mat for a crew cab and the mat does not fit.
Lastly, Autonation is charging me shipping to return the mats. The only reason I chose autonation is because they are supposedly an OEM RAM company.....they are not. Do not waste your time with this company as they don't know what they are doing and they lack any semblance of customer service.

Stay away from there
Stay away from there. Purchased a pre certified gold car and paperwork was not given to me at the time of purchase and then when I requested the paperwork it was signed the day after I purchased the car. Hummm I was no where near there that day.
It all started over breaks squeaking then finding out the rotors have scoring. Yet the gold CUV report said the rotors were perfect, yet another dealer said there is scorching/grooves and rotors needed to be resurfaced after 3k miles put on the car by me trying to get any help is a joke.they said they would give me a discount!
I sure hope customer relations does not send me a sorry to hear about this please contact us at, cuz I contacted you about a week ago and still have NOT heard nothing back from you. STAY AWAY FROM AUTONATION!!

Worst than a pawnshop or title loan place.
If you just got out of prison and need a car, have a 350 credit score or are otherwise desperate, these crooks are your last hope. Then you can bite the bullet and use them. Otherwise, run like hell!!!
I had credit on a used car lined up with my bank, everything ready to go. Had the car and everything sorted they screwed around until my wife was starving and wanting to leave and then switched my loan for their and offered 1/2% lower than my bank.
They lied, after I signed it was the same rate. You cannot make early payments or principle only payments to pay the loan off faster. They have been sending the payment slips later and later until the last slip arrived the day before it was due.
The plan is to force you to give them direct access to your checking account so they can steal from you. They are about as scumbag as it comes. After 9 schemes and lies from them, I refinanced the loan thru my bank and got rid of them.
Seriously avoid these criminals. If you must, good luck to you. The good news is that if you are on the run from the cops, they allow you to make payments at any 7/11.
Sadly, there is nothing lower than one star.

Unsafe car sold as "PRISTINE".
Another $6,000 for the "PRISTINE" car we just put $2500 into. We drove it for 8 hrs and it broke down after day one. Total costs will be $9000.
These people are crooked, have no integrity, are unethical, liars, deceitful, and the list goes on.......don't waste your time or money

I purchased a 2024 Mazda with 39K miles…
I purchased a 2024 Mazda with 39K miles on it. I am a former ASE certified tech (1990s) and have replaced hundreds of spark plugs in my time. I wanted to replace the plugs because I know the manufacturer does not use anti seize and this can cause the plugs to weld themselves to the head over long periods of time. The second plug came out about halfway and seized in the engine. No way this should have happened to a car with this low milage and time on it. I got a total lemon with no recourse.
