I've purchase 5 vehicles over the years with Copart, the first 4 were accurately described and I obtained additional information to make an informed purchase. This last time was a disaster! Vehicle listed was an offsite sale, meaning it was consigned by copart. Information provided was from the seller. The seller filled out a Go Report stating what was wrong and what was in working order? They gave report to copart to list offsite vehicle on consignment. So with information provided by copart and seller I also obtained a clear vin report for any other pertinent information. When I went to bid and make offer I could not use my account because I did not have a certain license so went with AutoBidMaster. I have used them before and they were very helpful. Just wanted a good running chassis for a project I was working on, didn't really care about cosmetics etc? So this vehicle had a go report of vehicles current condition, Great that's just the kind of info I need to make an informed decision? Report said ac blows cold, it did not? Report stated no check engine light, Has check eng light, report stated drives freeway speeds, it does not. Stuck in limp mode. Report states brakes working, Has faults on dash for anti lock brake and traction control. Over a third of report supplied by seller was false! Copart and Autobidmaster wash their hands of it? I really didn't think they were responsible, but won't even hold offsite seller accountable? And that's the rub!!! No accountability! Autobidmaster and copart don't care about the customer!!! If they did this would be a no brainer, go back to seller and hold funds until situation rectified? If information posted on listing say the a/c blows cold it should blow cold! If information on listing states no check engine light, it should have no check engine light! If information posted on listing says it drives freeway speeds, it should drive freeway speeds! (stuck in limp mode) If information states no faults in brake system, it should not have traction control and antilock brake faults on dash? I am completely baffled by the lack of support for me the customer and lack of accountability of the seller to stand by their Go-reports accurate description of vehicles real condition?

I use Autobidmaster in situations where my dealer license is not accepted, kudos they are registered everywhere. Once you buy and pay, good luck your on your own. Recently I bought a car, it was delivered (damaged) and the person I dealt with would not request a loading picture from Copart. I finally asked some contacts I had and got the image. The car was damaged in transit, issue resolved, why Autobidmaster would not help is beyond my understanding. Copart was helpful..

In one word, Bobby! After numerous phone calls with little response other than “we are working on it”, I reached Bobby who provided me hard dates, concrete information, and meaningful data. Fast, meticulous, and very informative, Bobby worked with Copart and Autobidmaster, eased my concerns, and delivered what I needed. Get more people like him because he makes Autobidmaster worth the money I pay. Perry

Is AutoBidMaster a scam? Based on my experience, it certainly feels like it. I purchased a vehicle through AutoBidMaster (Lot #61645055) in the June 30, 2025 auction. The listing claimed the only issue was “Minor Dent/Scratches” and gave no warning of severe mechanical or electrical problems. The car had keys and was labeled “Enhanced Vehicle,” giving the impression it was functional. When the vehicle arrived, it would not start at all, even with a jump-start. A certified mechanic confirmed it had major electrical system failures and a locked steering column, making it completely inoperable. These extreme defects were never disclosed in the AutoBidMaster listing. When I contacted AutoBidMaster, they hid behind their “as-is” policy, refused any refund, and placed all responsibility on the buyer – despite their failure to disclose such serious problems. After searching online, I discovered many other AutoBidMaster complaints from buyers who were also misled by incomplete or deceptive auction listings. This shows a pattern of unethical business practices that may violate consumer protection laws. I have reported this case to the Better Business Bureau (BBB) and the Massachusetts Attorney General. Buyer Beware: AutoBidMaster acts only as a broker, does not inspect vehicles, and takes no responsibility for misleading or missing information. Many AutoBidMaster reviews report similar bad experiences. If you buy here, you risk losing your money on an unusable vehicle. Keywords: AutoBidMaster scam, AutoBidMaster reviews, AutoBidMaster complaints, AutoBidMaster fraud, AutoBidMaster BBB, AutoBidMaster problems, AutoBidMaster buyer warning.
