Returns for repair are an issue.
I purchased an Omega Seamaster that has not performed well. Returns for repair take 6 weeks or longer. Water damage is not covered by warranty.

Unfortunately, our warranty does not cover abuse or neglect by the wearer. If, as in this case, the owner does not fully screw down the crown (in order to properly seal the internal components of the watch) and the timepiece is exposed to a significant amount of water, the watch will begin to run sub optimally and will eventually require repair. Typically in the repair business, particularly if a repair requires being sent back to the manufacturer, repairs commonly take 3 months+. We strive to exceed industry standards and appreciate any feedback as we continually strive to improve. We appreciate your review and business.
