I bought a watch for my wife and a year later wanted to trade up to a different one. Paid $5000. They offered $2000 trade up. These people suck, sales support are F'ed up. Go to Bobs, they're honest, reputable. Anyone else.

I purchased a Tag Heuer Carrera watch from them, five months later condensation started building up inside of the watch and it quit working I took it to a local dealer who recommended I take it to another local watch repair shop. The technician opened it up and said that it was missing some parts, he also said that the watch was several years old and possibly used before I bought it. He also said all the interior workings of the watch were dry and lacked lubricant, probably from sitting around for years. That repair cost me $650, he didn’t have all the correct parts to fix it properly. I sent the watch back to authenticwatches.com, they refused to honor the two-year warranty they boosted about, they claimed that the watch had seen some sort of impact which caused the problems, which was false. They wanted to try and charge me $650 to repair it rather than standby their warranty. The watch was either used or very old Don’t trust this company

I was going to purchase a Rolex from them today. After reading the reviews and from a previous experience I can tell you this. 1. They do not stand by their warranties. They will tell you the watch needs an entire overhaul rather than warranting the watch to get out of losing any money. Thats a very shady tactic, that no reputable company would do, especially when buying a "New" watch from them. 2. Their watches seem to all be refurbished or at the least very "gray" market. If they send you a watch and it's not what is explained in the photos, they will charge you a restocking fee or claim you damaged their watch... which is a HUGE RED FLAG for any sort of business. Call around to any reputable watch dealer and you will see this is totally not the norm and a way of making money off customers they are deceiving. Any reputable company will stand by their product and services, if they don't that's just the tip of the iceberg on everything else, they are doing shady. Having to send a brand-new watch back because it's been misrepresented, had a damaged "new" box or is not working properly is 1000% the fault of the company... There is no way around that. 3. Finally, their customer service. I spoke with 3 different reps that gave me 3 different restocking amounts... I know it's hard to believe, but I recorded the phone call so there would be no question. That was all within about a 20 min phone call. When you order the watch, they ask for a deposit, when they find the watch, they don't call you more than one time maybe, don't leave a voicemail and will send you an email. If for some reason you don't respond to the email they will not call again, like any reputable company would do to take care of their customers, they just move on, then try to charge you more as time going on to buy the same watch at the price point, they originally quoted. Thats an extremely dishonest and deceptive way to do business. With the paper trail, conversations and recorded phone call it will be very easy to really broadcast this companies' true colors. Stear clear of this company! They are very deceptive, misleading, non-ethical and have the worst customer service I've ever dealt with in the world of luxury watches. You can get far, far better service going nearly anywhere else that sells luxury watches and truly takes care of their customers. If you're reading this, I'm sure it's not the only complaint like this, but this company truly needs to be made an example of and with the amount of people they have ripped off, it will happen sooner than later.

Bought a Rolex from them. Bought their Platinum Warranty. Spent over $80.00 to ship the watch to them and reverse shipping. They sent me a bill for $850 even though I bought their platinum warranty. Obviously, they don’t understand what a warranty means. I would give them 0 stars if I could. If I was you, I wouldn’t order anything from this company

I’ve purchased two watches from this company in the past. All I’m going to say is DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM THEM. THEY ARE TERRIBLE BUSINESS PEOPLE.

I purchased a Breitling from them and it has a warranty on the watch. Recently the watch has been losing a minute or two every day. So I sent the watch in to be looked at, while under warranty. They sent me a bill for $666 to fix the watch… the watch that’s under warranty. What’s the point of a warranty if they won’t honor it. Also, it does need a new band. Breitling will replace for 180. They want 495. So that says something as well. If you buy a nice watch that works, you’ll be set. But if you buy a defective watch from them, you’ll be on your own.

I have seen a watch on their website that is listed for $4275. On their page on ebay they listed it for $4675. I contacted them asking about this watch, once they saw me interested in this watch, they removed the watch from eBay and increased the price of the watch on their website for $5775. I wonder why, since you want to sell your watches why you act this way and take advantage of customers. Bad experience.

I received an email from Authentic Watches asking if I was satisfied with service of the watch I sent in. I reinterated how dissatisfied i was and I received no response. They also sent me an email with a link to write a review. When I went to the link I was immediately timed out so I couldn't write the review. I wouldn't have anything to do with them. My purchases through Jomashop have been a much better experience.
