Buyer beware. Please ask in writing that you are buying a complete watch before payment. I had an incident where I purchased a new store display Rolex Datejust but later discovered a link is missing. When I asked about this, they refused to address the issue and instead provided a link to buy the link for $250. Apparently their store display are sourced from other stores so they can't guarantee it's a complete watch. Given I have purchased over $25k worth of watches with them, I expected some customer service.

Dear Mr. Chan,
We thank you for your business. We are sorry to hear that you are unsatisfied with your purchase. Every watch on our site accurately states the bracelet length. The order in which you are referencing was in June of 2021, over 6 months ago, which makes it rather difficult to properly source the issue. That said, because we value and appreciate your business, if you would kindly give us a call and we will gladly cover half the cost of a new link.
Kind Wishes, AuthenticWatches.com

Bait-&-Switch! Buyer Beware!
They showed pictures of a specific Rolex Daytona that is interesting to collectors so to make certain it was the picture of the exact watch I was interested in buying and not just some stock picture, I emailed and asked if it was specifically an "APH Error" watch. "Sandy" replied, "This item is an APH error model". The watch I received is lovely but it definitely IS NOT the more collectible APH error iteration I was bait-&-switched into believing I was buying. I complained to their general manager who told me I was mistaken and the picture didn't show the APH error. I should have taken a screen shot but didn't and thought I could rely on their written word. If I send it back, they will keep 10% which comes to almost $3,000! Buyer beware: these people will lie and falsely advertise to get your business. UPDATE: They stick by their position that I didn't see the watch I know I saw because if I didn't see that watch, why would I even email them before purchasing it to verify that it was indeed the APH error watch? And I forgot to mention originally that when I called them to complain about the watch not having the APH error face on it their salesman said, "Of course it isn't an APH watch; that's very valuable and you'd have to pay $10,000 more for one of those", which is utter nonsense as they don't trade for more than maybe $1K difference between a non-error face and an error face. Like I said, they lie. Caveat emptor, baby. Caveat emptor.

Dear Jeff,
Our photos on the website accurately depict the exact watch you purchased. Additionally, we informed you that this model was an M serial number (manufactured from 2007-2008). The watch you are referring to was only made between 2014-2016. Finally, as our policy clearly states, we cannot accept returns on watches that are no longer in the condition in which they were sent, and that were used by the customer. You sent us a picture of you wearing the item in question and with all security tags removed. We do not sell used items. This item then becomes a totally different watch than was purchased and poses a significant loss for us.
We are sorry to hear that you feel we switched the photo; it has been the same image for quite some time. We have been a family owned and operated business since 1979. Our company prides itself in honestly picturing the items that will be purchased and shipped to our customers. We would not be in business this length of time if we were to “bait and switch” our clientele.
We strive to meet and exceed our customers’ expectations. Please feel free to contact us so that we may try and find a solution that works better for you. As always, we appreciate our customers and wish to provide a pleasant experience.
Kind Wishes,

Dear Ma’am,
Thank you for your feedback. To follow-up, we gave you a discount and free overnight shipping on the original item you purchased, the Datejust, because of your method of payment. This was something we confirmed the terms with you prior to accepting payment. With this type of discount, there would then be a restocking fee for a return or there was also the option to exchange at no charge. After receipt, you chose to exchange for a discontinued, and difficult to source, piece (that particular Yacht-Master) that we did not currently have in stock - which we relayed to you. After extensive and thorough searching, we were able to send this to you and at a $2,000 discount below the current market value. We sized your original order at your request, but we did not size your second piece because you did not request it and we could not assume the same would apply for a different order/a different watch. We appreciate your business and we are sorry to hear you are not pleased with your experience. We hope this helps to clarify any misunderstanding and that you are enjoying your unique timepiece.
Kind Regards,

I ordered a watch 4 months ago because…
I ordered a watch 4 months ago because they did not have it in inventory. I provided the $350 deposit and agreed to 90 days to allow them to find the watch in "New" condition. 100 days later I called and cancelled the order and requested the refund of the deposit per their agreement. THAT SAME DAY they sent an email to me stating they just received the watch and therefore could not return my deposit. I ask for a picture of the watch and/or serial number and they refused. The reality is they did not have the watch. They then offered a "Used" watch with blemishes to which I said no. They have refused to return the deposit or provide any information of the watch they supposedly acquired. They do not like to return anyone's money even when they cannot produce the watch agreed upon. Why buy through a questionable seller? Most people do not verify their watch is authentic after the purchase from a non-authorized seller because there is a fee typically to open the watch and verify from an authorized seller. SPEND THE EXTRA MONEY AND BUY AUTHENTIC FROM AN AUTHORIZED DEALER. you can't even be sure the watch is not stolen. GOOD LUCK.

I purchased the watch about 5 years…
I purchased the watch about 5 years ago. I sent it in for warranty service. I receive a bill for $995. It needs service they said. We don’t profit on service they said. I demanded my watch back. For days they sent me the bill despite having advised them that I wasn’t going to pay it and to return my watch. Finally told me it would take weeks before I would have it back. Why would it take weeks? They still have my watch - an expensive Breitling. I had previously bought another Breitling from them. This one has a lifetime “worthless” warranty. I would never deal with them again. You get what you pay for!
They respond that it was sent to the manufacturer. That’s absurd. They sent it out to a third party vendor. I’m sure it is not the manufacturer. They are holding my watch for “weeks” even though I’ve asked for it back. Why not just sent it back? What’s the hold up? If I’ve asked for it back abs paid you for the shipping in advance, why not ship it back? I called. The service department works not let me speak. He kept interrupting me. He then laughed at me and hung up. What kind of company would handle things this way? They just keep making it worse and worse. Just send my watch back. Why is this such a challenge? I wonder what condition the watch will be in is I ever get it back. These are nasty people who simply don’t care. By the way; for the guy who laughed at me; I look forward to our next contact. S as I advised you when you said you were scared, I will sure this company and you individually if I don’t get my watch back by Monday. If you think I am kidding and really don’t care, keep it. Laugh laugh laugh. I look forward to this. I will make it my life’s mission for you to pay for how you treated me. Are you laughing now creep?

Thank you for your feedback. Every high-end timepiece, much like a car, requires routine maintenance (routine overhaul) every 2-3 years in order to run efficiently.
These are standard manufacturer guidelines. This repair was sent to the manufacturer. They stated the watch needed routine maintenance; there was no mention of any defects within the timepiece.
Please understand that we do not evaluate or decide what is covered under warranty. Our warranty covers all defects within a watch, but it does not cover normal wear and tear or routine maintenance.
We emailed you to inform you of the estimate. You emailed and called us stating you wanted the watch returned to you from the manufacturer the same day.
We informed them of your wish not to repair the watch and to return it immediately. They have not performed any service on the timepiece and you have not been charged. The manufacturer’s return time frame is generally within 2-3 weeks even without performing any service.
You then left us this negative review in response and have continuously called us stating that our warranty is worthless and claiming that we are holding onto your watch for an extended timeframe.
We thank you for your review and hope our response helps to clarify any continued misunderstanding after all of your communications with us.

Verified reviewer, would not recommend.
Watch doesn’t arrive, was disappointed, but someone did phone me up to explain the situation, apologize and make arrangements.
Update:
For those who are considering to make purchase with AuthenticWatches, this is my experience, I am not here to discredit AuthenticWatches or make slanderous remarks, I am just saying my recent experience in dealing with them, as it is. I am a verified reviewer, I have provided proof of purchase to TrustPilot and I have all corresponding emails.
I made a purchase for a watch that was described as “usually ship within 3 months”, after the money was paid in full and receipt was issued to me by email, I don’t hear any updates from AuthenticWatches from that point onwards, no communication, no assurance, no estimate date of arrival and no update as to the whereabout of the watch. Nothing.
2 months gone by, I email AuthenticWatches informing them I am uncomfortable with the way this transaction is going, I then request AuthenticWatches to cancel the order because I manage to find the watch that I am looking for at Chrono24 (Chrono24 does provide clear date as to when the watch would arrive, that kind of certainty definitely helps). However, I was informed that I would need to pay a 10% cancellation fees in order to cancel the order, I was not prepared to lose $160++ for nothing at this point, and so I decided to wait it out. AuthenticWatches further assures me the watch is due to arrive within 2 to 4 weeks, I have no choice but to wait it out in order not to lose the cancellation fees.
2 months and 3 weeks gone by (1 week more to 3 months), still no communication, update or date of arrival, nothing. I emailed AuthenticWatches asking for the watch again, and they replied “According to our records, there has been no delay with your order. We are still expecting to receive the item in the advertised 3-month time frame”. However they still could not provide an estimated date of arrival even if it was just 1 more week to the 3 months time frame they had promised. At this point I knew I was scammed, but I have no choice but to wait 1 more week in order not to lose the cancellation fees.
5 days more to 3 months, still no communication, update or date of arrival, nothing. I emailed AuthenticWatches again asking for status, they replied “Our records indicate we are still expecting to receive your order by the end of next week”.
3 months gone by, still no communication, update or date of arrival, nothing. I emailed AuthenticWatches again asking for the watch. They then replied “We regret to inform you that this item has been discontinued by the manufacturer and it can no longer be obtained”.
I have no doubt in my mind AuthenticWatches is clearly acting in bad faith, why keep deceiving me email after email after email? Why still deceive me even 5 days before the 3 months time frame? Anyway, the watches that I was looking for was sold off in Chrono24 and I lost the chance to own the timepiece because of all these false promises, that’s what truly upsets me. I would have gave them a good review if they had been honest to me, why don’t just tell me they are out of stock and let me move on?
I am not sure what business model AuthenticWatches are running, but I would not recommend dealing with them.
I left a 1 star review here at TrustPilot, few days later someone from AuthenticWatches called me up, and to be fair, I will say it as it is, give credit when it was due, the gentlemen was very professional to me, he explains, apologizes and even offer discount for my next purchase. I then amended my 1 star review to a neutral 3 star here at TrustPilot. That gentlemen earns AuthenticWatches from 1 star to 3 stars.
I would have leave it at 3 stars, unfortunately, AuthenticWatches bad faith continues (I am sure it’s not the gentlemen I spoke with). Anyway, whoever is it, they flagged my review and reported my review for violating TrustPilot’s guideline. This is the last straw that I could take, my opinion is this company is all around a company acting in very bad faith, doesn’t consider customers interest and honestly the flagging and reporting of my review in TrustPilot is just sickening and such a new low in my book. I would not recommend anyone dealing with AuthenticWatches. I am amending my 3 star review to 1 star.

FAKE
THEY SOLD ME A FAKE WATCH BAND, BUYERS BEWARE, IF YOU WANT A REAL WATCH, SHOP ELSEWHERE. IF YOU DID BUY A WATCH HERE, TAKE IT TO ROLEX TO CONFRIM IF IT IS REAL ASAP
Response from AuthenticWatches.comSep 15, 2021
This purchase was an attempt to defraud our company by stealing a watch. He purchased a Rolex, disputed the charge stating it was fake/reversed funds (while never having it sent to be verified by Rolex), and attempted to retain the timepiece without having paid for it. The watch was only returned (with significant retributive damage done by the customer) after our legal team contacted him informing him of the illegality of keeping something and not paying for it.

Stay Away
I ordered a watch during their Black Friday Deal with overnight delivery. The delivery took 5 days and it was not the right watch. When I called to complain I was told that the watch they sent me was in fact more expensive than the one I had ordered and that I should be happy. I asked to exchange it for the one I ordered, to which they responded that they don't actually have it. When I asked to exchange it for another one (same price as the one they sent) they refused. They also said that they paid less for the watch I received than the watch I was asking to exchange it for (even though they are listed as the same price on their website) and therefore could not exchange them. They said all I can have is the watch they sent me or my money back. Given that their Black Friday sale is over a refund wouldn't help me. If they were willing to let me keep the watch they say is worth more, why wouldn't they exchange it for something that is the same price. Obviously the watch they sent me and said I can keep is not worth as much as they say it is.
Furthermore, the manager, Peter Grant, is extremely rude. I don't think I've ever been spoken to that way over the phone by a customer service representative, let alone manager. He continues to pretend that I asked for credit, when in fact I asked for an exchange. The "credit in excess" had already been given when they said I could keep the "more expensive" watch. Either he can't add or he is lying.
I've since asked for a refund. They sent me a return label that can only be used for 48hrs and can only be dropped off at at a specific Fedex miles away from my apartment. They say if I don't return it by then, I will have to pay for shipping.
These people are thieves. Stay away.

We are sorry to hear that this client is displeased with the item he received. We have offered a full refund or exchange. The client has requested that we issue store credit in excess of what he has paid. Regrettably, we are unable to issue credit for amount higher than that paid. We apologize again for any inconvenience.
