Avoid avoid avoid!!! Foreman/Lead tech. With over 15 years. Spend 6k on an ultra and then pay double yearly what the competition charge. Never so upset with a purchase in my life. Autel its now my mission to save as many techs as I can from buying your over priced diagnostics.

So, I purchased a diagnostic reader from them through an Ebay shop. When I buy expensive items off Ebay or any online shop, I keep a copy of the web page advert both as a web page and as a printable .pdf file. After one of their updates, I suddenly found that some of the tests it did had disappeared. I contacted them and they just said, "No, that meter never did that". I pointed out that I had the advert still and that it plainly said it did the test. That was one reason I bought it. All I got was that model has never done that test. How to call a customer a liar and the seller a crook for saying it did something they say it never did. I have since found out that they do this regularly to customers in order to force them to purchase a newer model. I can say here with complete confidence that Autel as a company are liars and crooks. Their practices are shady bordering on criminal and I would never consider buying anything with that name on. As for Autel suing me for slander, well, I still have the advert which shows the sellers details too. I hope that anyone purchasing Autel products see this and go elsewhere. I now regret not pursuing this with trading standards.

My little-used MX900 stopped communicating with vehicles, not even battery voltage (which was verified at OBD outlet}. Sent back to Autel under approved warranty RGA. After almost 2 weeks, they have not even looked at it, much less communicated with me. Terrible customer service. Do NOT buy Autel products.

No response from customer service. Device returned. Don't buy from them. One-star - only because there was no option to give them zero. Utterly useless.

Do not purchase if you want support if you cant login, I purchased a used device from a pawn shop that had a PIN login because you are supposed to be able to reset the password, so I changed the registration to my account to reset the login. But because the device had an older firmware version and subscription had expired support would not help me unless I paid for the $600 subscription. They said they do not keep older then one year of the software. I had another scanner that worked without a subscription just no new updates. I had similar issue with another company's scanner and that company reset the login and I was able to use that scanner without paying for a new subscription. Autel only cares how much money they can get from you, not that you can use there product. I bought a used scanner to test it before I spend thousands. I know now not to spend it on an Autel.

Terrible customer service, when I contacted them, they said to be able to continue to use old scanner I have, I’ll need to pay to renew license. I didn’t need new car updates, just need basic EOBD and older model cars; This mk808 I got off Amazon is setup to only work as continuous pay-to-use system, Instead of one time purchase.

Absolutely the worst company to spend you money with. Their scanner cause a fire that shut my shop completely down and they try to charge me $3000.00 for replacement. Didn’t take any responsibility all I wanted was to be made whole with a scanner because my insurance is taking care of my building but they could care less.
