AT&T sales guys offer fake promotions when they knock on your door.
People from AT&T Home Internet are scammers! I signed up 4 months ago with AT&T after a sales person knocked at the door and lured me into taking the service by promising $200 gift card. Even though I was suspicious of it, I agreed to sign up for the internet service and received the connection. When I called a month later, I was told that I would get the rewards card of $200 after 6 weeks. When I called after 4 months, they said that there was no rewards promotion entered into my account. Now, I'm switching to some other internet provider. These people are scammers. Don't believe them! However, I've an update after speaking with a few representatives 3 times. I got frustrated so much that I wanted to cancel the service. So, I called AT&T again to disconnect the service. The representative from AT&T, a thorough gentleman, offered me 3 months of free internet service to compensate for the promotion offer that was not given to me.
