30 years of memories finally out of the box and into a beautiful book where they belong! We love that Artkive has given those cherished cards and family photos a new life. Thank you for the enthusiasm, it truly makes our day!

I used Artkive for my daughter’s preschool art work. I love the concept of a display book instead of keeping a pile of things in a box. The book is great quality, and something my daughter will cherish for years to come, without all the clutter! Thanks, Artkive!!

Preschool art is so special and it deserves more than a pile in a closet! We love knowing your daughter will be able to look back on her earliest creative moments in a beautiful, clutter-free book. Thank you for choosing Artkive to preserve this chapter!

This is an adorable way to cherish your child’s artwork and they love seeing their work in published form. My child loves the idea that his hard work isn’t being discarded and that he gets to share these with his friends and family in a compact way.

A child knowing their hard work is valued and preserved is truly the heart of what we do! We love that he gets to proudly share his very own book with the people he loves. Thank you for giving his creativity the spotlight it deserves!

This was one of the most frustrating scams I experienced last year. Their ads pitched a "just $35 for the box" deal. The instructions and add encouraged, "just fill the whole thing up and send it!" Little did I know, as a busy mom (the whole reason I tried Artkive... I have no time), that the small print details that you'll be charged an additional price for every single item in there. I just grabbed the whole stack of art off the table without curation, put it in the box and shipped. Nobody reached out or contacted me until I got hit with an over $2,000 bill! Yep, $2K and they went ahead and photographed the receipts and teacher notes that were in the mix of art. Never thinking to double check before photographing everything? Then I spent an incredibly frustrating hour on the phone with a super condescending customer service rep who shamed me for being so stupid as to not read the fine print. She quickly offered to lower the price to $500 though? Absolute scam and clearly designed to grab busy parents' money. When I finally got the artwork folder, they were all poorly shot and edited too. I don't blame the poor editors and photographers, considering how many images they had to go through, but I still would never have paid $2K, $500, or probably even $200 for such mediocre pics. I could have easily just snapped those on my iPhone which is definitely what I'll do forever going forward. Don't waste your time and money, folks!

We’re sorry this service wasn’t the right fit for you and we understand how upsetting it would be to receive an invoice that felt far higher than expected. Artkive’s service includes two payments: the initial box fee, and then a second charge based on the number of pieces received and the product selected. The box fee does not include photography or book production. We do try to go out of our way to clarify the pricing structure at every touchpoint including in checkout, on our website, in our FAQ, on the order receipt and in a dedicated section on the order form. We also send multiple emails before beginning work on your order to help clarify the process and offer an easy way to get in touch if you have any questions/concerns beforehand, but we understand that for busy parents, that information can still be missed. Each piece of artwork and memorabilia sent in your box is photographed and edited by hand by professionals and there is a lot of labor and personal touch that goes into the thoughtful creation of our books. Our prices reflect the effort our team puts into the preservation of each and every piece of artwork. That being said, if you have any specific concerns about the quality of the images you received, we’re more than happy to re-photograph, re-edit, or otherwise improve them. Please just reach out to our team.

Artkive was great! I loved how they consistently updated you on the process / status of the book I was purchasing as a gift, and I also loved how they showed names/pictures of the staff that were contributing to it! I would definitely order from there again, no doubt!! I also love that they offer discounts on the purchase of a box/product pretty frequently!

Thank you so much for your kind words. We’re so happy to hear you loved the updates throughout the process and enjoyed seeing the team behind your gift come together. It means a lot to us that you’d order with Artkive again, and we’re so grateful to have been part of something so special.

First of all, I absolutely love the final product! So nice to see my kids artwork instead of it sitting in a tote. Artkive was very upfront with cost and communicated well! Highly recommended!

Thank you so much for sharing this. We’re so glad you love the final product and that your kids’ artwork now has a place to be enjoyed instead of stored away. We also really appreciate your note about our communication and transparency around pricing. Thank you for the recommendation.

I loved this experience. Everything was so seamless and easy, including packing the box (I literally stuffed mine to the brim) and the photography was excellent. My only feedback would be that I wish we could re-rearrange the pictures in the book in the order we wanted.

You actually can rearrange the order of the images in the book before you approve it for print! In the future, if you have trouble using the tool to do this, just reach out to our team and we can help you!

I am on my 4th artkive book and all of them are now in my “things I need to take with me in an emergency” list. I turned a bunch of cards and letters from family and friends into beautiful books (and when I say I did I mean I put them in a box and artkive did the rest). I love this product so so so so much. Best gift to myself ever.

Thank you so much for this. We’re honored to have helped turn those cards and letters into books you treasure so deeply. One extra awesome thing about Artkive is that in case of an emergency, we actually have a backup of your books stored on our server and would be able to reprint them for you if you ever lost them. Your memories are safe forever!
