I got a new unite installed and after 3 months I started having issues. So I called ARS and said that my ac was off on the temperature in my house. When the guy got here he was surprised that the ac was working. I told him that I never said it didn't work. I said that the temperature was off in my house that when its at 78 my thermometer in the house says its 82 in the house and everyone is sweating. He said that the nest thermostat put itself on home away so it will keep it at 82 to 85 which I get but I am constantly looking at my thermostat and it never goes above what I set it at 78 but yet my other thermometer says its 82 in the house. He then told me that there might be a clog in the pipe that he would have to vacuum out and put cleaner down. Just those two things which I could have done myself if I knew. He charged me 251.00 dollars for. I am still under full warranty. 251.00 later the problem is still not fixed. Then he tries to sell me a uv lamp which I previously already had. So my husband got home and called the company to have them come out around 6-630pm when he was home. So not going anywhere and not cooking dinner the guy that was supposed to come called me and said that we are going to have to reschedule because they only do emergency's that late at night. I told him it was because my husband was home at that time and that I got taken advantage of the day before when my husband was not home. He said sorry that I felt that way and that I would have to reschedule a time a when me and my husband where home which is literally what I already did. Then I called the company to get refunded because I am under warranty for a full year. I have called the company 5 times asking about my refund and I get the same answer that they will send it over and I should hear something back from their billing department. Still the ac does not work correctly and still I have not received my money back after a month. This is hands down the worst experience I have ever had with any kind of company. I will never ever deal with this company again. I would defiantly never recommend anyone to this company to save them stress and a hard time!!!!

ARS had installed 2 HVAC Units and a split unit previously. When the more recently installed HVAC stopped working, I had the unit maintenance person (already scheduled for seasonal visit) confirm an appointment for a technician to work on the problem during an 8 to 12 noon window. When the tech missed the window, I called for an ETA an was told “closer to 4 p.m. Again the tech missed the window and obligations required all to leave the premises. At a few minutes to 5 pm the tech called at which point I informed him I was on the other call filing a complaint. ARS reassured me that being placed on “on demand” status would have a tech to the home ASAP. Dispatch took my complaint and said a manager would be giving a call back. At 5:10 pm a call came (of course when I was indisposed.) I called the number back two minutes later but was able to reach anyone—not that anyone actually wanted to be reached…. I called back a second time requesting a call to set an appointment. At this point, I’m back at square one with no HVAC, no appointment, and living an hour away from the project at hand. The next morning, no phone call from ARS. I call and get on the schedule as “ a work in.” Again, no tech and no advisory update as to when a tech might be available. Sensing the continuation of poor service, I called another HVAC company with a 5 star rating. Tech arrived by 1 pm, quoted a price for repairs and completed the job without as much as a phone call from ARS. Will never use them again. H

Paid over $9k for a complete replacement. The deal was for replacement of the entire unit, 2 free filters, duct cleaning and sealing. They did the unit replacement but failed to replace the 30 amp breaker with a 20. They didn’t bring the filters so I had to use the “cut yourself” type that i happened to have on hand. They didn’t clean out seal the ducts and when I call to get these things scheduled they say they’ll call back and never do. I even called to find out what size filter I need, they say they’ll have the parts department call but they never do. This is a trash company, don’t use them for anything if you want it done right.

We had a complete replacement of our home AC system using ARS rescue rooter and paid more than #8000 for a system with a Payne compressor system & a Carrier evaporator system four ton capacity. I later saw that the Payne system had a tag that the unit was illegal for use in the southwest USA. The unit was a 14 efficiency rating. We consider these folks untrustworthy and would not use them again.

My main waterline clogged up. I called on a Tuesday and was told that I may be seen same day as a work in, or been scheduled early Thursday morning. Scheduling did not permit me to be worked in, so I was scheduled for 8a-1p on Thursday. On Thursday @ 1245, I was called and told that I was next on the technicians schedule (I think she said his name was Troy). Well, after 2 hrs passed and I didnt hear from Troy, I called ARS back. I was told that the technician would call me back with an ETA. Well, I am STILL waiting on ha call. I made four additional calls to ARS asking them if the technician was still coming....each time I was told YES. Well apparently at ARS, YES means not only NO but also comes with stories about how they want to provide you with excellent service....These are what my grandma calls "telling tales out of school"...aka lies. They lie to you on the constant. I could have called elsewhere if only I had been told the truth...." Ma'am, I'm sorry that your main waterline is clogged and you cant flush your toilets or use any water in the house, but we dont care. Your scheduled service call with us means nothing to us! Call somewhere else! Have a happy holiday" I would have had more respect for them. I can hardly wait to post the chat messages on my Facebook page. Very unprofessional.

Scheduled my appointment 2 weeks ago to have my furnace inspected before winter hits and before the rush. Selected between 7:00AM and Noon. Got a couple of calls from the Technician about other jobs and whatever but he did make the time frame. He wore all the CV-19 gear and shoe covers. I took him to the furnace and let him go about his work. After 10 to 15 minuets he came to me and said he was done. I was thinking kind of quick but ok the system is only 9 years old and we have maintained it. So the technician says everything is OK. I'm thinking that's good. Then he says but your induction motor is drawing 2.6 amps and is rated for 2.8 amps so it may die tomorrow of next year or 5 years. I'm thinking great, then ask how much do you think it will cost. He says oh they're not cheap 8 to 9 hundred dollars installed. So then he said well you could get a free estimate for a new system and they would knock that much off. I'm thinking yeah sure they will. So I paid the guy for the inspection told him I'd have to think about the estimate. He gave me his card so he could be the one doing the estimate because he already knows the system. He leaves I go get the model and other information from the furnace and hit the internet. The part he said was dying and would cost $900.00 to replace, I found on Amazon for $93.00, watched a YouTube video on the 10 to 15 minuet job it is to install a new one. 4 screws, 3 wires, 3 hose clamps to remove and put back. I really feel like either he or the company was trying to scam me. Yes I ordered the part and I will install it myself, and I will never use this company for anything again.

First visit, my water heater was not installed up to code. Took a half day off work to have someone come out to fix the issue in the afternoon, and he didn't show up until well after the time window (and well after the time I would have been off work anyway), only to tell me that he didn't have the time to fix everything that was wrong with it. He also told me that HE would personally be coming back to fix it and that he was going to call his supervisor about compensating me for the time I took off work, which never happened. So I get scheduled for another day, and I text the guy who said he would be coming back to fix it himself the morning I am scheduled for to confirm he is still coming and he said yes. Later that day, the same technician who installed it incorrectly the first time shows up to fix it. Okay... That same day (so I didn't have to take ANOTHER day off work for ineptitude), I also had people working in my attic for new insulation. The ARS technician told me he needed to go to Home Depot to get some supplies (which didn't make sense because he should have brought everything he needed with him if he had the report from the inspector outlining everything that was wrong). That was the last I saw of him. I had to call ARS to ask if he was coming back, and apparently the technician told ARS that he didn't have room to work because of the insulation guys, who were not in his way at all. There was a ladder in the garage to access the attic and that was it. So ARS finally sent another guy out after 7pm to fix the issue. And then I had to take more time off work to have it reinspected. I got saddled with ARS because I bought my water heater through home Depot and they contracted insulation through them. Never buying an appliance from Depot again if it means having to work with this company again
