As for the wig, variations in density between different areas can occur due to construction techniques, which are designed to create shape and layering rather than uniform thickness throughout. The band is intended to provide structure and support, though the fit can vary slightly depending on head shape. Color may also appear different due to lighting, screen settings, and batch variation. The scent you noticed can come from the production and packaging process and typically fades after airing out.
