We got multiple emails from Taylor that there were units available at this apartment complex and listed times available. We tried calling the apt complex and finally went over there, there were no units available and none coming up in the near future. Keep getting emails outside the budget set in the filters. Worse experience ever.

They are vultures. I’m moved into an apartment that my boss told me about, and they cheated them out of the referral fee. Just because I looked at the website.

Pros: found legitimate rentals that met my criteria Cons: Relentlessly spammed me with emails suggesting apartments which have obvious dealbreakers: way above my budget, or banning pets. Criteria should be respected, & if I reject a listing, I don't want to have it shoved in my face every day. (edit) Thanks Melissa, I appreciate it.

Det sidste års tid har jeg oplevet at få uønskede henvendelser fra Apartment List; jeg har skrevet til dem på Facebook og sendt e-mails og bedt dem stoppe, da jeg bor i Danmark, men de bliver ved og ved og ved og ignorerer mine bønner. For the past year I have been getting mails from Apartment List, and even though I live in Denmark they continue to contact me up to several times per week. I have contacted them through e-mail and Facebook asking them to stop, but they just continue. I have of course warned my friends in the US about this company.

The most infuriating apartment search website I've ever encountered. They limit your search parameter by forcing you to select options you don't want or need to select. They use a Tender type format where you have to go through your matches one-by-one and select "Love it, Nope, or Maybe". This process takes forever! There's no way to just view a list of your matches, and click on the one's you're interested in. There's no way to create your own search parameters, such as "private owner rentals". The AI function is forced on you and is extremely unhelpful. Extremely frustrating website and the worst I've ever encountered. Don't waste your time...steer clear of this website!

Shares your information with apartment complexes even though you explicitly tell it not to. I never would have used this website had I known that.

Use an other competitor this website Is slow not helpful and a waste of Time

Shares your information with any building you show any interest in even when you explicitly ask them NOT to. Im still getting emails 2 months later. And please don’t bother to reply that your match feature “did its job too well”, because that’s frankly an unacceptable attempt to make light of giving out my contact Information against my will. I did not opt “in” to anything, via a super match prompt or elsewhere, and based on the countless reviews saying the same, clearly the default setting is actually an opt-out model. FYI It’s now been almost 5 months and I’m still getting occasional emails from some of the buildings leasing professionals who unsubscribe you from mass emails but continue to follow up 1 on 1.
