I have been here for a month and a half, but nobody has guided me on the exercises. Even the trainer isn't willing to help me get weights for exercises like the incline bench. No responsible staff no communication no policy .Running only behalf of brand

Zit bij Anytime sportschool Nunspeet, heb de switch gemaakt van een andere sportschool in verband met dat anytime 24/7 open is. Der is genoeg plek voor de auto/fietsen kwijt te kunnen, het team van Nunspeet is altijd zeer positief en wilt je graag helpen met de dingen als der iets is. Daarbij zijn der heel veel optie’s met machines en plek voor de oefeningen te kunnen uitvoeren. Verder heb ik nog geen andere Anytime nog bezocht

I was a member for ten years at the Josey location in Carrollton TX. The owner,Brent, who owns multiple locations in the area, closed the location. Signs at the location and an email sent to me clearly stated my membership would be cancelled. I found out I was still being charged after the closure and contacted corporate multiple times. They refused to take any action or contact the club to resolve my issue. I errantly thought the issue was resolved due to multiple other gym memberships and I didn't discover that I was still being billed until several months later. After much effort I found out that my membership had been transfered from the gym within walking distance of my house to one 5 miles away. I didn't visit this location and no reason was provided for the transfer. My account was cancelled but I was not reimbursed despite never receiving and benefits or services. I sent several requests for additional information and the club manager refused to communicate with me any further. The last time I had a gym billing issue like this it was with Bally Total Fitness and thank goodness they are out of business. I now have three gym memberships with excellent owners who treat their customers and employees with respect. I will never step foot in an Anytime Fitness again and if you are smart you will avoid this chain too.

If you are considering joining Anytime Fitness in Dawson Creek, I strongly encourage you to ask yourself a very simple question: Do you want to walk into a gym and potentially find yourself face-to-face with a convicted murderer? Ryan Friesen, the man convicted in connection with the murder of Kiara Agnew in Mexico, is being allowed to work out at this facility. What is even more disturbing is that, from what has been publicly displayed, the gym appears to be celebrating his presence rather than recognizing the very serious concerns this raises for women who use the facility. And now, with the latest W5 reporting indicating that Kiara was not the first woman who came forward with allegations of serious violence involving Friesen, the questions surrounding this situation are even more concerning. This isn’t about creating a comfortable environment for a convicted murderer. What about the women? What about the young women who walk through those doors alone? What about women who have survived domestic violence? What about women who should be able to work out without wondering who might be watching them from across the gym? I also find it extremely concerning that Anytime Fitness’s own posted “Prohibited Activities & Visitor Obligations” policy states: “As a visitor or user of the Sites you shall not: violate any applicable law or regulation.” That raises a very important question: What exactly does Anytime Fitness consider when determining who is appropriate to welcome and publicly celebrate within its facilities? A gym has an obligation to think about the safety and well-being of all of its members—not simply whether someone is legally permitted to walk through the front door. If you are a woman considering this gym, ask yourself whether this is an environment where you feel safe. I certainly would not want to be standing on a treadmill or lifting weights and suddenly realize I am looking across the gym at a man convicted of murder. Women deserve better than being told to simply accept that as the price of membership. I am calling on Anytime Fitness Dawson Creek and Anytime Fitness Canada to explain what consideration was given to the safety and comfort of female members before choosing to welcome and celebrate this individual at their facility. The company does subtle extortion when you cancel your subscription. Despite giving a prior one month’s notice to cancel my subscription, I was made to pay for extra 2 months with extra chargers. Please aware of this. I will never recommend to anyone.

Een fijne sportschool met één punt waar ik minder enthousiast over ben. Twee keer per jaar wordt er €15,- extra in rekening gebracht bovenop het lidmaatschap. Dit bedrag is bedoeld voor een loting waarmee wordt bepaald welk tijdelijk krachtapparaat in de sportschool komt. Wat ik lastig vind, is dat ook leden die al langer lid zijn aan deze loting mogen meedoen, terwijl zij hier niet extra voor betalen. Dat voelt voor mij niet helemaal eerlijk en komt over als een verkapte prijsverhoging. Persoonlijk heb ik er helaas weinig aan, omdat ik voornamelijk zes vaste oefeningen doe en de gekozen apparaten voor mij daardoor niet echt van toegevoegde waarde zijn. Verder ben ik tevreden over de sportschool, maar ik zou het prettig vinden als deze extra kosten en de manier waarop de loting is geregeld wat transparanter en eerlijker zouden zijn.

The staff misleads people to get them to sign up for membership and personal training sessions. I signed up for Anytime Fitness because I knew I would likely be relocating due to a safety reason at some point, but also knew that I could stay with Anytime Fitness because there are gyms in the area I was looking to go to. Then I accepted the free session with one of the personal trainers and it ruined everything. They talked me into buying a personal training package ($80 every two weeks) for training sessions. I told them I would prefer individual training sessions and once "accidentally" was put in a group session. I was uncomfortable with that. Then the time came where I needed to move. They knew this was happening and told me that all I would have to do is send a copy of my lease and then it would cancel within 30 days. Well, that was over a month ago and they are still charging me every two weeks. When I tried to reach them by e-mail they conveniently ignored me. Then I managed to get a hold of one of the trainers via text. She told me that I would have to appear at the gym that I now live two hours away from to sign an ipad for my cancellation to be effective. These people are evil and are only in it for the money. The gym isn't even that great - many others have many more facilities! I highly recommend going somewhere else. I sure wish I could!

Extremely disappointing experience. I transferred my membership to another branch and later cancelled it, yet I was still faced with unexpected charges and conflicting information regarding my membership status. The whole process has been unnecessarily confusing and frustrating. The biggest issue is that this gym is almost impossible to contact. They rarely answer the phone, emails often go unanswered, and getting a response takes far more effort than it should. When there is a problem with your membership or billing, the lack of communication makes it very difficult to get anything resolved. Poor customer service, poor communication, and a stressful cancellation process. I would not recommend this gym based on my experience.
