Roger Ruiz pulled a bait and switch. No one reached out on the date he indicated and now he's saying it's another week+ to assign a team.

Company has been slow to respond, and have failed to put any updates in writing. They have dragged my file out for over a year and never provided any evidence of communications with the IRS. At this time they don't reply to emails or telephone calls. All the available phone numbers fail to connect to a live person. Looks like I've been scammed.

I was under the impression that they would help reduce my tax debt, they only lower my tax repayment monthly amount. No other changes to my amount. Never ask me questions. Never told me what was going on. I have no idea what I paid so much money for!!!!! FL Martin

Anthem is garbage. They talked us into spending 5k on tax abatement- they dragged it out for 18 months- and have gotten us nothing at all. We have to chase them to get them to respond to messages and once they had out money they were not proactive at all. Avoid these people.

Be very cautious when Dealing with Anthem don't enter into an agreement unless you have it reviewed by an attorney! there is a lack of accountability with Anthem! very slow to respond, ask 6 Questions get one answered as for as the Escalation team one telling statement i still struggle ( Poor service is not Breach of contract) as if to say you may have gotten poor service but you expected better??? I did but lesson Learned

This was a total disaster and a complete waste of money. We owed back taxes for 2022 and 2023 and after going back and forth with them for a year and half and paying them a large sum of money we got zero results and no reductions in what we owed. Please don’t fall for this money racket!!!!

Stay Far Away From This Company! I engaged Anthem Tax Service (ATS) under two separate contracts, neither of which have met the agreed-upon terms. I am requesting a full refund as the services were never provided to me. All the information they have produced was given to them in our first contract by me. Nothing they have told me was new information. The fact of the matter is the second contract, which is in question, none of those services have been provided nor do they plan to provide them. First Contract (Signed on 4/01/2024 for $500): As per our agreement, ATS was to: Investigate IRS and/or State Taxing Authority(s) Master Tax Files regarding liability and Statute of Limitations. Order transcripts and Record of Accounts (ROA) to assess compliance and accuracy of tax debt. Despite paying the initial fee of $500, none of these services have been completed. Second Contract (Unauthorized Charge of $1400): Without my consent, an additional $1400 was charged to my account, and I was forced to move forward with a second contract. This contract stipulated that ATS would: Prepare, file, and negotiate a tax-compliant petition through an IRS tax relief program for any outstanding balance. File Forms 8821 and 2848 to provide representation. Investigate IRS Taxing Authority(s) Master Tax Files regarding liability and Statute of Limitations, and order transcripts and ROA to assess accuracy. Conduct a financial evaluation of questionnaires and income. Submit an IRS resolution, including an Offer in Compromise, Penalty Abatement, Deferred Offer in Compromise, CNC Status, or Installment Agreement. Not only were these services not completed, but during our first call, your representative informed me that nothing could be done regarding the taxes owed and suggested that I work with my accountant. It was also mentioned that any funds paid to the wrong year would be automatically corrected by the IRS. Customer Service Experience: Given the lack of service delivery and the fact that I was misled about what could be achieved, I formally requested a refund via email based on the information provided. To date, I have not received any response, nor have I seen any efforts from their side to address my concerns or provide the services outlined in the contract. Conclusion: I am urgently requesting: A full refund of the $1400 unauthorized charge. Please address this matter immediately. Failure to do so will leave me no choice but to escalate this issue through the appropriate channels.

I regret ever hiring Anthem tax services. I spent a large sum for their services to resolve an issue with back taxes. I told the company I would need them to walk me through the process and keep me updated during their attempt to resolve my tax issues. However, Anthem did not regularly stay in contact with me. I had to reach out to them many times to get answers. Their answers were rushed and generalized. There were months when I didn't hear from them. Ultimately, they did nothing that I could not have done by myself. Stay away from this company.
