Ana LuisaReviews of analuisa.com

I wanted to join Ana Luisa and did. Then I read that I would be charged $50/month? I don't understand. So I cancelled. I have bought 2 items and like them very much.

Still waiting on my replacement earrings to be delivered to me.

Just ordered some earrings from this site, after having some that I loved but sadly lost. What was really sneaky was opening my order confirmation and seeing an AL Luxe membership in the email, but no price next to it. I didn’t even realize this was added. You have to opt out of this membership before proceeding to checkout, do not miss this step or you’ll be charged $4 for the initial fee, then $50 monthly! Feels like it’s purposefully hidden in the UX (I work in UX so I feel like I can tell). You can cancel in your account (once you make one), but definitely shady business practices, and quite odd for a jewelry website to have a membership this expensive? I’ve never experienced this before shopping online, so beware before completing your purchase!

In short: unreliable quality. Bought the necklace in store; it breaks less than a month later. Then the replacement breaks. By now, I’m outside of the refund window and I’m only being offered YET ANOTHER replacement or store credit. Customer service responds quickly but rigidly attach to a policy that doesn’t bear in mind the quality of their products. How is one expected to trust a product that has repeatedly failed?

AnaLuisa jewelry has always been my go to, however I noticed my necklaces were tarnishing after two years (ocasional and not daily wear) Which the warranty only lasts two years and I wasn’t able to receive help with some of my most favorite pieces so I had to just toss them as the tarnished metal was giving me contact dermatitis on my neck. Although ana luisa customer service is great in assisting and replacing if you submit a claim before the two years end. I just don't think it’s worth it to continue buying jewelry that will eventually tarnish or flake off. I love the pieces I still have but won’t be continuing to purchase anything new due to the quality.

I didn't realize they took away the rewards that you can redeem to help the environment, like cleaning the ocean or planting a tree. That was the biggest reason I was a customer for Ana Luisa. Disappointing, but still appreciate the recycled gold jewelry.

I was given a necklace as a gift a year ago and it's never tarnished, although the gold tone is cooler than most gold plated or gold vermiel jewellery so it does not match other items that well. My issue with Ana Luisa is they sell an add-on 'Parcel Protection' to 'have peace of mind' if your parcel goes missing or is damaged in transit. This sounds like a corporate issue pushed on the consumer - they have no faith in their supply chain and need to review their courier contracts. I know of no other UK company that charges extra to ensure the order will arrive as expected or be refunded if it doesn't / is damaged. In addition, the marketing content is inaccurate and excessive; since Black Friday in November 2023 they have incessently promoted the same 'multi-buy' discount where discounts apply after spending more money, but each marketing email and online promotion pretends it is a new offer. It has been a promotion from November 2023 until March 2024 at least. Come on, they must have more ideas than that to entice new customers?

I received today and I am very disappointed in the quality for the price. Very flimsy. The post bent when putting the back on the earring!! $55 down the drain. I won't bother to return due to previous reviews on having to pay for returns and no responses to the fake 2 year warranty. Influencers stop promoting them, please! Update: They say someone will contact you to "make it right" no one contacts you. UPDATE: I was surprised a couple of days ago to see a full refund issued to my bank account. Thank you for making it right.
