The worst—-despite MULTIPLE phone calls over several weeks, have not been out to fill our tank which is now almost empty. Customer served LIED stating that someone will be out on a certain day, and when they don’t show up, the next person says they will be out the next afternoon and to expect a call. When they still don’t show up, the next person the following day assures that we are definitely on the schedule and to expect a call that afternoon—but then no one calls. After speaking with a supervisor, we are told we are not on the schedule and the next available appointment isn’t for 3 weeks—meanwhile, it’s been 3 weeks that we’ve been trying to schedule and we are almost out of propane. I read the multiple other poor reviews and see that the company just doesn’t care.

Terrible company. Could not fulfill a tank fill order within 3 weeks of call. When I canceled they charged all kinds of BS charges. Customer service agents are rude and useless.

Terribly. Was supposed to be on automatic refill, thought of checking my gauge and was at 6%! Called and got delivery date which came and went, more calls, more lies. 3 days after last promise and still nothing! So concerned with getting verifying contact info but they don’t use it. Turn on electric heater and call a different company- they SUCK!!!

Our gas usually lasted a long time. For some reason it ran out last Friday, much quicker than any other interval. We asked for an emergency fill on that Friday morning. We paid $300 for the "24 Hour Critical Emergency" service. By Monday, it had still not arrived. I called again and was told the Friday request was taken but never sent to a dispatch even though I paid my $300 fee. They assured me it would now be in the 24 hour delivery and they would request a same day. But Tuesday still no delivery. I called Tuesday night and still no date set for delivery. On Wednesday morning I finally was transferred to an English speaking person who said they could reach the driver as the dispatch location was only blocks from the house. The driver did not call before arriving, but fortunately someone was there to let him in, otherwise he was not going to stop. Yes, on a Friday I paid for a $300, 24 hour emergency service and did not get the fill until Wednesday, following 9 phone calls including hold times of about an hour. I will find someone else to install a new tank and get service from any other local propane delivery company.

Placed an order 11.24.22. Today is 12.5.22. Still no delivery. 5 phone calls, including supervisor. Horrendous customer service, void of communication, conflicting and inaccurate information, useless website. Cannot speak to local office - only contracted call center whose ESL reps speak scripted responses and are of no help. PRICE GAUGED Propane. We canceled our order & service today and switched to a new propane provider. New provider’s propane is $1.45 LESS than AMERIGAS.

They are HORRIBLE! I have called the call center several times-they hang up on you after giving a scripted speech. No gas after placing order 10 days ago…Ask for a manager, nope! Can’t talk to one. Called the corporate office to try to speak to SOMEONE— back to the incredibly frustrating call center. It’s just bad policy on the part of AmeriGas. Hang up on the customer! I am stuck with their tank as it is a rural area and honestly dont know what we’re going to do about gas at this point. I have NEVER had such a terrible experience with a company.

To make a very frustrating, long, unfruitful experience statement short - I called 4 times within a 2 week period to get new service. After the survey, and being told everything was good and ready for me to schedule, I was transferred to a call service. Every, I mean EVERY time I was transferred over, a call which, without all the repetition of the same questions, could have literally taken 5 minutes, took 20 minutes, EVERY TIME, to the point I just hung up. I went back to my previous propane provider, and was set up as a new customer, new account, in 10 minutes, and delivery time set. And, to top this all off, I got a letter in the mail that my credit was not good enough for service, AFTER all these calls took place! How did I talk to all the people I did, being told my account was set up and that all I had to do was get scheduled, only to receive this letter??

Don’t use AmeriGas! I got hung up on several times, and couldn’t get anything resolved. Finally I got someone not at a call center and asked to have tank removed and closed account!
