We loved the camper and the ease of the rental. Our needs were well served. Next time I will bring a thicker matthess for all of the beds and we needed a level and blocks to support the camper properly. Drop off was not well explained and it was not simple. I was glad we had experience with campers previously. We will rent again!

Billy and the guys at American Dream Vacations make our "glamping" trips so easy. Great units to pick from and easy to work with. Will be going back a 5th time in the past 18 months soon!!!!

Great review Mr. Arredondo! Come back soon!
MOTT, J.
Electronics were not working which lead to the auto-level system failing which then caused the slide out NOT to retract. We spent hours trying.
Response from American Dream VacationsAug 22, 2019
Mr. Mott, I apologize that you experienced difficulties with the rental. Due to your delayed arrival and at the request of your significant other, we left the vehicle parked out front after hours to ensure your trip could begin mostly on time. Part of the consideration was that the instructional videos were watched and that you were already familiar with the vehicle. This proved not to be the case. Upon return of the vehicle, we found absolutely no problem with the vehicle systems, leveling jacks or slide out. It appears that having illegally driven with the slide out extended was completely unnecessary. Thankfully no one was injured, no accidents were caused and no damage was done. Evidently this was a case of operator error. Clearly our flexible pickup practice was a mistake. Your business was much appreciated but the unfair, out-of-context review was not.

The RV we rented was clean, but it was well used. Everything worked during our trip, but the A/C had trouble keeping the unit cool on a 102 degree South Texas summer day.
Response from American Dream VacationsAug 19, 2019
I understand the frustration with an air conditioner not cooling as desired. In the Texas heat the air conditioners make the vehicle much more comfortable, but these units are working very hard to do this. Under perfect conditions, the A/C can bring interior temperatures down to about 20 degrees cooler than outside temperatures. If outside temperature is 102° the interior temperature would be only as cold as 82° . Of course, there are several variables that affect the end result. There are steps that can be taken to encourage cooler temperatures such as leaving blinds closed, limiting the frequency at which the entry door is opened/closed, using the windshield privacy curtain, and lastly, inserting insulator pillows into the roof vents. Hopefully, our clean vehicle and helpful customer service will keep you coming back. We would love to get you out in the fall or spring!
