Micheal M.
Our tour guide
Our tour guide, Yair, was a tremendous asset. He was very knowledgeable and fun to be with. His is a professional musician, playing the trumpet which he carries with him. In crowded areas, he would make music with his trumpet and you knew where he was, or he was encouraging laggards to catch up. There were 20 of us, a 90 year old, an 81 year old and only one under 30. We all kept up but being in shape with good walking shoes is a plus. We were never concerned about our safety which was brought up in the early planning stages. Israel is not what we expected. Most of the land is beautiful and the only desert area we saw was near the Dead Sea. Knowledge of the politics for the last 1000 years would be helpful. Micheal McDevitt, Kent, WA
