I had foot surgery in March and am still having a great deal of swelling and have trouble finding a shoe that is comfortable. My orthopedist recommended the Altra brand. I ordered my first pair of Altra and immediately felt a huge difference in the way the shoe fit my foot and helped me walk so much better. I did have to order a larger size than normal to be able to put the shoes on comfortably. I love these shoes, I am walking almost normal when I wear these and they have helped with the pain and discomfort I have been having since surgery.

So glad to find your shoe selections. I’m no longer a runner thanks to arthritis, however your shoe styles have greatly improved my walking options. Local running shops had limited shoe selections, so your website has given me many more choices.

Well I <3 my LP3.5's so I am stepping up a notch to try out the KMT1.5's hope that the Velcro strap on in-step provides a little bit better fore & aft stability. If they're 1/2 as awesome as my LP3.5's I'm sure I'll love them (so will my bad back!). Plus with no hassle 30-day returns, it's a no brainer!

!st impression: I discovered these shoes just a couple weeks ago, however I heard of zero drop a while ago. I like their philosophy & observation-based design methods built on decades of industry experience...pretty impressive. I received the HIIT XT's yesterday, ran in them a few miles, SLOWLY, today. Though they're slightly tight in my arch due to my wide foot (E-2E), I'm able to back off the laces without sacrificing stability; I'm sure they'll break in a bit as well. My feet felt comfortable during the run, and the shoes felt supportive at the ankle while allowing my toes to relax and provide some natural shock absorption, and push-off. My calves/Achilles are tight now afterwards, but that's expected. I did see they recommend ordering a 1/2 size larger than your usual; I'm happy I did. The HIIT XT's have moderate cushion which works fine on dirt, pavement, some tall grasses :) they have plenty of grip also. I'm happy to keep wearing them. Oh yeah, I think they look cool too. Nice shoes so far.

This is the third pair of shoes I have ordered from Altra's web page. Super easy and the service and delivery has always been fast and complete. I will continue to shop on their webpage.
